I have an old Horizon DT-650 that has been sitting in the corner for most of its life. My wife wanted it and I told her it would end up being a place to hang clothes. I was wrong. There isn't a good way to do that. About six months ago I got it into my mind that I needed to exercise more. I dusted the poor thing off, plugged it in, and it fired right on up.After a few weeks of daily use, the belt started to fold on itself. I would straighten it out but it would immediately fold again. Was this a sign that I should return to my sedentary life?I didn't realize that replacing the belt was a DIY thing at first. But thanks to YT-sensei, it didn't look all that bad. I hesitated awhile because I wasn't sure if this was a belt problem or something wrong with the machine. I didn't want to waste the money on the belt if it turned out the machine was broken. But the belt was significantly cheaper than an equivalent treadmill, so I decided to chance it. Old belt off, new belt on, and with some adjustment, it was tracking straight. It's been a week and I've used it 30 minutes each day and I'm happy to say that there seems to be no issues. They said the belt comes pre-lubricated. I'm not sure if it is, the underside of the belt felt totally dry. It came with a small container of paste lubricant. The instructions say to use it on the deck, implying to use the whole container. But then is also cautions not to use too much. I just smeared a small bit over the whole board. Probably used only 1/4 of the container. Might not have been enough. But nothing bad so far.You do have to take off all the fasteners on at least one side of the machine. Watch a few YT vids before starting this. It really isn't too difficult. This belt is a winner. My only regret is that I should have purchased this as soon as the original belt went bad. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

I have a Horizon T50 treadmill. I bought it from Dicks sporting goods 19 years ago. Instead of buying a new treadmill, I figured I will try this first. This fit. So far it has been working well. You just have to figure out how to install it properly. We had to take the treadmill completely apart to remove the old and install the new. However, this saved me from buying a new treadmill.
