It's a nice-looking part, was rebuilding the differentials so the installation was not bad. Because it's a Traxxas part, its expensive for what it is.

Put these on first time out less than 5 min and the pin fell out of the axle and rhe shaft separated from the front axle -- my suggestion would be to put a tiny bit of heat shrink over the hole or rtv them in. It is a flawed design by far and for 62 bucks I expect a lot more. I have had better luck with eBay Chinese shafts actually

Wow I was not expecting this to take up several hours of my weekend to install but it did. Noob here and I read the reviews that say not for noobs. Just take your time, take note of which screws came out of where and follow the directions included in the package. My RC car is back up and running again thanks to these replacement metal shafts. Stupid Traxxas put factory plastic shafts in that broke the first time I hit a curb at low speed. Replaced plastic axle carriers and plastic shafts with metal and no problems now! Wish it came this way from the get go. Expensive but necessary upgrade.

Those driveshaft make a difference. They add less weight into the driveline than the original parts dans are way more tough. This result in more speed and less heat (not much but everything count with this RC)I had a great customer service. My package containe a twisted driveshaft. I got replacement parts in no time.

MEH... Not sure how important it really is to add this steel driveshafts to your MERV, but it definitely is a cool upgrade if you have the money. Prior to this purchase I never had an issue with the plastic ones.

They are what you would expect but I find them to be more noisey.

I put these on my Summit and haven't had any broken driveshafts since. These should have come standard. Installation is more involved than the standard shafts and requires disassembly of the differentials but there is a good how to video online. The stock shafts use a small grub screw to fasten the output hub to the differential. I found that this screw was stuck on one wheel and I stripped it trying to remove it, fortunately these shafts eliminate that screw so I was able to drill it out without damaging anything that wasn't being replaced.

These worked great. I was having problems with the stock ones that had just plain worn out. Only drawback is the price is a little steep, but you get what you pay for.

I bought these CVD's for my e-Revo because My slash keeps poping drive shafts on 2S so I'm gonna do slash to e-revo conversion and pass my old Drive shafts on and use CVD's in my E-Revo so far so good, They're smaller, lighter to i think, they look cool as well and they work that's the best look great and work? What more can I ask for, they're prefect! I don't like how you have to pop the front and rear end all the way out and pop the diffs all the way the part to install the cups but hey it's part of the fun in the hobby.I'm told you can Also buy rebuild kits to from Traxxas if you have issues, Honestly if you've got the cash buy these, next is the center diff mod. Thanks, Tyler!
