If you have an E-revo 2, I recommend upgrading the stock plastic spur gear with one of these. So far, this new gear has taken some abuse. This stock Traxxas part has no annoying off-center wobble in the gear mesh like a lot of after-market metal gears seem to have.

If you own a revo 2.0 this will at some point become a necessity as you will start ripping the plastic gear to pieces

I bought this a while back for my Erevo 2.0. I've been driving it a lot at high speeds over all kinds of terrain, and this gear has held up very well.
