I have been searching for the perfect travel purse-this is number 5 and it’s perfect! I’ve felt like Goldilocks-one was too bulky, one too small, one too stiff! This purse is it-the size is just right-holds my phone-wallet-incidentals perfectly. And it has a water bottle pocket that holds my 16oz metal bottle. The quality is amazing and at a reasonable price. Plus it has an uncutable strap and scan protected section.

the side pouches too tight for my reusable water bottle. the shoulder strop always has to be in twisted every time i use it. I do love the way all the zipper handles lock easily. Very secure. over all a good purse for traveling.

Having taken my bag on its first holiday we got along extremely well. All the features work as they should, it is very good value for money considering the work that has gone into it. The strap did not pill my jumpers and I particularly like the outside side pockets which fitted my water bottle and umbrella perfectly, and zip up when not in use. It was lightweight, a bonus if you are filling it and carrying it around all day. If I could buy the beige colour at the same price then I would jump at it.

This is my second purchase of this bag, in a different color. I carried the black bag throughout France, Spain, and Portugal last year. I always felt secure in crowded, touristy areas. It has excellent security features. All zippers have clasps that secure them. There is a front pocket that works great for cellphone, on the opposite side one outside pocket that works great for credit cards, passport, etc and has RFID protection. The ends of the purse zip out where you can carry a small umbrella and a water bottle. There is an additional large zippered pocket inside the main compartment and two smaller pockets that work for glasses, hair brush, etc. on the opposite side. It is remarkably streamlined and doesn't look big at all, but it holds a lot. I carry my incidentals like hand sanitizer, lipstick, sunscreen, pill bottle, etc. in a small zippered makeup bag in the main compartment. It makes it easy to find things. I am extremely pleased with this bag, and I think it is reasonably priced, as well. The quality is very good. I have a little tear in one of the mesh water bottle zip-outs, but that is to be expected with as much wear and tear that it has seen.

Comprei a bolsa para viajar e não deixei de usar depois. Ela cabe tudo que preciso e, por ser pequena, não corro o risco de carregar peso inútil.Acostumada a usar mochila, resolvi arriscar e não me arrependi.Até comprei um outro modelo, ainda menor, e estou aguardando a chegada!

I like everything about this bag! I have not tested this on a trip yet but it seems durable, and very light.Appearance: It's nice enough to wear in cities, and practical enough to take on hikes. I think the size is great for holding all the bare essentials when travelling. It's versatile and looks great. I got the nutmeg color cause I have too much black, and wanted to change it up. It matches all my neutral luggage and clothing. I'm a small-ish person, and this does not appear too big on me, so it's perfect for day trips and exploring.Function: Like other reviewers have said, the water bottle holders on the sides are pretty small, but you probably don't want to be lugging around huge bottles and you can clip larger bottles on to the strap if you need to. The side pockets easily zip up to reduce bulk and I can put other easy to grab items in there like pens and such. The inner lanyard clip inside is nice to have, comes with a mini light (battery separate), and I appreciate the light grey interior to make it easier to see your items inside. You can probably fit a thin rolled up cardigan in the main pocket if you have lots of extra room. All the zips open smoothly without any snags.Security: It sits closely to my body when wearing it. The material is very sturdy. When first opening the zips, the clasp really does slow down any possible theft, and I like that it's not obviously visible. There is a zip pocket in the back that's perfect for valuables (a must-have for me), and a zip pocket in the front under a flap. Inside is neatly organized with another zip compartment and 2 pockets. The only part that I'm iffy about is the larger clip that attaches the front of the main strap to the bag. It has a lock feature, but seems a bit flimsy if it were to be aggressively pulled very hard to the side. I would have designed the clip to sink further in to avoid this hairline gap to the side, but vertical stress is secure enough and not really a problem.Packing: I think it will be easy to stuff into a backpack or carryon if you prefer to take a bigger bag on the plane with you. Not a bad purchase and excited to use it.

I bought this purse a year ago. Since then it has been to 8 states and 15 countries. It looks almost as new as the day I bought it and I feel very secure carrying it in places where pickpockets are known to work. We do a lot of cruising and shore excursions and it has been a trooper. I wear it with the strap over one shoulder and across my chest. The zippered pockets all have locks so I would notice if anyone was trying to grab my wallet. Here's what I carry and there is usually room for more: o water bottle and sunglasses or umbrella in the side pockets o wallet, cash, and passport (and sometimes covid vaccine record) in the back zippered pocket with credit cards in the RFID slots o iPhone, small charger with cable, mask, pen, and other small miscellaneous items I need easy access to in the front pocket with the flap o brush, small kindle, extra reading glasses, a small notebook, kleenex, meds, lip balm, vitamin C drops, hand sanitizer, hand cream, plastic bag for anything yucky, and folded papers like shore excursion info in the main compartment. If it falls open with the main compartment unzipped, nothing has ever fallen out. I spilled on it and it cleans up with a damp cloth. None of the hardware, which is plenty sturdy, has ever malfunctioned. It is stylish enough for a tour in Europe and sturdy enough for a road trip in Montana. Love it!

This was the 3d of the Travelon bags I purchased. The first I got is no longer sold (it's great, I think they should have kept that one). But I wanted one that would hold *more* but not be way bigger in size nor super heavy. (The cut-proof straps ARE a little heavier and for me that's a huge thing because I'm somewhat disabled). I did a ton of comparison and measuring before I bought this (amongst all the Travelon stuff and some other brands) -- I knew what I needed size wise and happily this purse is what it said it was and more. This was EXACTLY what I needed!!!!How can it hold *way* more and not be substantially larger than other purses?? Because the pockets on the outside expand ***out*** rather than typical pockets which push "inside". These pockets are literally gusseted so when you put stuff in them it puffs *out* rather than pushing everything inward. That slash flap you see in the picture - it's a magnet so it stays closed over a *zipped* pocket. On the opposite side of the bag is another zipped pocket but again there is a gusset so it pushes out rather than decreasing the inside space.HOWEVER -- for all the external pockets and the zipper across the top there is a small carbiner which is meant to attach to the zipper when it's closed so no one can simply open the pocket and slide things out. They can't do it -- it's futzy so I don't use them often, but if I were travelling in a less than safe area you bet I'd have the zipper pull locked in place. But when you aren't using the extra little carbiner locks they tuck back out of the way (incredibly well done - whoever designed this purse knew exactly what they wanted!! It's the most incredibly well designed purse I've ever owned.Pockets inside? Oh yes, and all different sizes so it really fits certain things. The card slots built for credit cards are in the **outside** pocket (not the pocket with the slash flap, but the one on the other side of the purse which you will be far more likely to carry close to your body (that slash flap "looks" like it should be the front of the purse). So again you don't have to open the entire purse (if you have your life zipped in there) to get a card or money out -- but it's safe (has the little carbiner lock) PLUS it would be carried next to you. There are TWO pockets (one on each side) that carry a water bottle or umbrella. When not in use they totally zip away.Strap -- MORE brilliance -- the strap is VERY long (like 60") but there is a slide buckle so you can make it shorter and virtually any length you want. BUT one end has a locking carbiner on it so you can literally unhook the strap and wear the bag thru your belt loops around your wait, or you can secure it around anything solid. I often thread it thru the handle of my dash so the purse stays upright and I don't have to fish blindly around the floor of the car for my purse that fell over. It keeps it where I want it to be.I'm in a wheelchair or I have to rely on a cane -- to say I love this purse is and understatement. I can make the strap halfway long and it fits over the handgrips of my wheelchair easily, or I make the strap long and wear it cross-body and the purse doesn't get tangled in my cane. When you look at the picture the body of the purse goes all the way up to where the handles attach (it almost looks like the top of the slash flap is the top of the purse but it is not -- that's all open zippered room.I wish I'd bought black. The blue is attractive but it shows dirt -- but they didn't have a black one in Amazon Prime or I would have gotten black. I don't ever want this purse to wear out. It is an engineering marvel and built tough to last.In one of the views you see the bottom -- it's about 3.5" X 8.5" (or whatever the width of the purse is - so the inside is really really roomy and it's taller than any of their other purses -- so the danged thing really DOES hold a lot!
