I keep a pair of these in every vehicle emergency kit in our family. They are great for cutting many things that you might need on the roadside for a repair, etc.

I work in an emergency room and needed some good but cheap set of trauma shears to keep in my scrubs. I have purchased more expensive shears in the past such as the raptor shears, and they are great, but they are expensive and unfortunately other people know that they are expensive as well and your expensive shears WILL end up missing unfortunately.I have used this set of cheaper trauma shears for about two months and they are holding up just fine to use on all types of clothing fabrics and also will cut through Ortho-Glass Splints easily. 1. Do these have the same build quality as a $100 raptor shear does? Answer: Of course not.2. Do these shears cut clothing fabric just as good as the raptor shears? Answer; Yup, pretty dang close.3. Will you be buying this cheaper set of shears or the raptor shears next time you need another set? Answer: I’ll gladly buy this cheaper set rather than a single expensive raptor shear no questions asked.

Great product to keep on a bug out bag or something your not going to use daily. They won’t hold up to daily use.
