I have a notch black sentinel harness and I was really looking forward to attaching this, BUT it's to wide to fit through the sown belt strapping on the harness, I guess the oversized carabineer I've been using will have to continue to work.

These are nice! I don’t carry much gear and love how it doesn’t snag up so much. The dmm cari-tools are bigger, so I’d you’re an everything but the kitchen sink type, they might serve you better. I like the smaller size of this one and how it locks. (I have the non locking dmm. It’s good, but I just like this more...). For what it’s worth.

Great addition to my harness. I work all day in my harness and always wishing for a better way to hold my tools. Easy gate and you can retrieve a tool one handed. Plenty of room to carry multiple tools on it, I carry a 18” and 12” crescent wrench with easy.

This is a must have for any serious tree climber! Quick one handed on and off which is a luxury compared to my old clip I needed to reach over with 2 hands. The one handed action is soooo nice esp. when you’re in a spot you don’t have the best balance. I’ve had mine for only about a month and I have nothing bad to say about it. Spend the money on your craft, id buy this again tomorrow if I had to.

I like everything about this, it stays secure on AND directed outward on my saddle, and the lock works perfectly and it’s a breeze to use with gloves on. I’ve had other Caritools that flop around which make it a pain to rack my saw. Really I highly recommend this, it’s worth every penny, I would also say to make sure it will fit your saddle. It does have two sets of four screws, short and long with it so you have some flexibility with the mounting process. It’s a great piece of kit, just buy it already.

I've been using this item for 9 months now.Cons:-The 4 screws to connect the plate are too short, even the longer screws. I have a weaver saddle with double ply nylon and it wasn't possible to use this as supplied. I bought 4 screws that were longer and it connected just fine.-Install wasn't easy. Yes I was being lazy and didn't disassemble my saddle fully. I just squeezed it between the waist pad and the nylon belt, it was a tight fit. I wish the plate was on the back side and the carabiner just mounted over the belt, would be much MUCH easier to install (I would put this entire sentence in caps but I didn't want to yell at you good people).Pros:+This or something just like it is just so handy that I can't live with out it while climbing. I don't care if its $100, I'd still buy it.+The gate has a slow close, I like this.+A lock on the gate. I never use it but I'm glad its there. Also appreciate the butterfly shape of the lock, makes it easy to feel the gate with no eyes.+The shape is very nice, if it protruded out from the saddle an extra half inch and the gate was an extra half inch longer I would probably be happier.+Rounded metal edges are well machined. I was nervous about these at first, I didn't like the idea of metal rubbing against my primary life support day in day out but so far I see no abrasion of the nylon near the carabiner plate.
