Readers; This writer got a holder [which should have come with the EV, IMHO} for the Tesla key card, so it would be easy to keep on your person, without searching every pocket of your attire and the entire EV to find it. The keycard is a tight, close fit-YES, the way it should be. The fake leather strap seems to be able to survive some long use. But the snap ring that comes with it- is a failure. The why is next. I snapped the key card to a part of my trowsers while I did some 'things' to my EV. When I got ready to drive-the keycard is GONE!!!! After some hunting and a flock of panic- it did find it near under[somehow] my work bench. It seems the clasp device on the included ring is weak, and does not latch in a secure fashion. Thus one contact with the ring against something hard, and the ring attachment parts ways with the rest of the ring,. Once I found the key card- I at ONCE found something better and stronger. So, reader, buy one and PLAN to change the provided ring with anything better!

My key card fits and works perfectly fine in the case when locking or unlocking the Tesla.
