6. For those with a capacity value higher than 2μF equivalent. The serial () has a resolution of 0.01Ω and displays two significant decimal digits.
7. Up to two diodes are displayed in the correct order and diode symbol. In addition, the forward voltage is also displayed.
8. The LED is detected as a diode; the forward voltage is much higher than the normal voltage. Two-to-one LEDs are also detected as two diodes.
9. If the reverse fault voltage is lower than 4.5 V, the Zener diode can be identified
10. Measure the capacity of a single diode in the opposite direction. If the base is connected and only one collector or emitter is connected, the bipolar transistor can also be analyzed

It is kind of dated, but it is very useful in quickly determining components out-of-circuit.It beats having to setup signal generator and scope or VOM.It is a great time saver because one button press tests most common components just by plugging into it without thinking about polarity or voltage.As you can see in the photos it displays what it identifies pictorially and shows polarity and electrical values.Considering the good price I would recommend this device for anyone working with electronics.Great for hobbyiest. It is also good for professionals as it sure saves time.
