2011 F150 FX4 5.0Fitment is exactly like OEM.Installation is extremely easy 4 bolts all 10 mm.So if you are here let's talk about it because I'll tell you after going through this problem methodically first thing I replaced was the Vacuum Solenoid still had issues, second thing I checked out was all my vacuum lines and yeah they were bad so I replaced them, and the third thing I replaced was this. My 4x4 is now working exactly how it should I am not longer fighting my switch to get it in 4x4 mode.Quality seems well made and for the cash $$ value I will highly recommend it.

I think every one covered the facts. It was an easy install if you understand the lone wire needs to be transferred to the wiring harness on the new transfer motor (watch you tube videos). The wiring is much shorter than oem but it still works. Before the repair all I got was the gear wrench with check 4X4 when I tried to switch into 4X4. After the replacement it sifts butter smooth into and out of 4X4.I can't say if the longevity is good but time will time.

Fitment was great! Only had to reverse the wire harness clip. Very happy with shift motor.

My F150 would shift into 4x4 High but not 4x4 Low. This replacement part took care of it. Here are few tips.1. Connect the power/control plug to the vehicle without the new part installed, and switch to 4x4 High and back to 4X2. This makes sure that unit is lined up for installation.2. There is a wire from the transfer case to the connector. It is not difficult to pull the wire from the old connector and force it into the new connector. I did just that and everything is working.3. Since the old unit was sealed with RTV, I cleaned up the mounting area and applied fresh RTV to the new part. I connected without RTV first, just to make sure everything was working. I then pulled it back off and sealed it.If you follow these steps, it should work fine.

Easy installation and seems to be well built. Engaged and disengaged smoothly with no issues at all. Time will tell how long it will last but worth the price definitely

Worked like a charm on my 2009 F150. My truck would no longer shift into 4x4. After checking everything else I was pretty sure the motor was the problem. Bought this one and put it on last night. Just FYI the cable colors are not the same as the OEM motor. I was little concerned so I tracked all the wires coming out of the motor to the pin connection in the plug to confirm it was likely right. The entire length of the wires are a decent bit shorter than OEM, but it was not at all a issue. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install. Now hopefully I'll remember to engage 4x4 every few weeks so the motor doesn't just set and eventually seize up.
