Product did not operate as designed/described. Thermal by-pass did not operate properly and transmission was subject to overheating condition. Purchased directly from OEM, replaced the unit and zero issues observed.

I went to do the pill flip mod, but my cir-clip was seized solid in my thermostat (2018 Tahoe). I ordered this to just replace the entire unit, and it fits amazing. Works so well I ordered one for my other truck (2017 Sierra) and the unit I received had a ton of metal (aluminum) shavings still in one of the ports. I disassembled the thermostat and used brake clean to flush it out. Annoying that I had to do this, so quality control is hit or miss. Just make sure you check for shavings before installing.Trans shifts smoother than ever, and saved my tahoe

I find it to be a perfect fit, similar to a factory component. I purchased this for use during the winter months. However, I find it advisable to remove it during the warmer months. It functions as intended.
