I guess maybe we should have read the instructions (if there were any?) IDKWe live in FL where it’s usually hot. We didn’t realize we needed to take the canopy down with every little storm. The canopy held on tight! It didn’t rip, but it bent all the poles inward from whipping in the wind. With tying it to the top of every pole it’s not exactly practical to go out there to put it up and take it down every time you want to use it. Maybe if the straps were longer so you could tie it lower on the pole, but not when you have to drag a ladder out to reach the top.
