The handle for my rebounder is made of very sturdy metal material. It has a nice cushion on the top where you hold on with your hands.The only problem I had was with no instructions included it took me longer to figure out which way to put the pieces together. I finally figured it out on my own but I was still disappointed with no instructions included.

Installs really easily and seems sturdy enough. As long as the legs are the right diameter, you should be fine, so be sure to measure before purchasing. It's nice to have this because it does make you feel safer... the handle bar helps you know exactly where you are in relation to the trampoline so you can do much more aggressive rebounding without fear of veering off into the springs. A little on the pricey side... but so is missing the trampoline and landing between the springs! :-P Good product!I hope you liked my review. This bar is actually for a 40 inch trampoline or rebounder, but I have a 36 inch one, and I did not want to buy a whole new trampoline. So I hoped this bar would fit anyway. And it did. It is made so that you can sort of swivel it to different positions, which makes it adjustable for either size trampoline. It works great for me, and I am very happy with it.
