Wonderful set of gloves for running and perfect for those winter days when you need a little extra protection while warming up. I use these when running in temps down to 15 degrees and they work great and are holding up well after many many runs.

I am super fan of these gloves.. with the "Mitten" cover they work great in the Maine winter. Have run with them in ~10 F weather and they work just fine at keeping hands warm (and I have minor circulation problems so they are very nice) and the few times I have used them with hand weights while running they seem to hold up well (will update if needed after more runs with the weights). They would have a 5* rating if they had more size options. The S/M size is large on me, that said they still work great.

Bought this to run in. However, most of the insulation is in the palm but my hands get cold on the outside where the air gets at it. The outside was similar to liners I normally use in moderate cold. Hoped that these would be warmer. I can close my hands to warm up my palms as needed. The mitten cover was easy to use but provided little benefit though it was very visible. Touchscreen use was very good. Wrist is long and gets in the way of my watch but needed to hold mitten part when not in use.

I ordered these for Hellgate 100k which starts at midnight in December. Gloves were very warm. Kept my hands warm the entire race. Temps were in the 20's and teens. They worked perfectly. In 20 degree temps they keep my hands so warm they almost sweat. I am in NC. The only drawback is the index finger is not touchscreen compatible nor does it have a slit to get your finger out so you can't use an iPhone. Not a deal breaker, though. Loved these gloves!

They keep my hands warm and the mitten shell works great when its really windy and rainy. They seem like they'll hold up for a long time.

I love the flap-over to cover my fingers. These gloves keep my hands warm on 20 degree runs and allow me additional dexterity when the mitten flap is removed. these are my go-to gloves. I am a small female and the men's S/M is the exact same size as the women's but offered the solid black with silver accents that I liked. My hands are small and these fit perfectly for running. I run rails/trails and pick up foxtails in the stretch before my turn-around point, and these are perfect. Mitten is easy on/easy off. The gloves themselves pull of easily as well. My hands have never gotten wet, and stay warm even on blustery days.

Keeps hands nice and warm. If not windy I don’t use the mitten, it made my hands really hot and sweaty. NOT a complaint, I use the mittens when it’s windy and very cold. I would recommend these to runners who need something for winter outdoor running.

These gloves are great for running in really cold weather. The mitten shell keeps the wet out and can be retracted as the hands warm up.

I love these gloves; they are my gloves of choice. I don't have great circulation, and these keep my fingers warm, and should I warm up during the run, then I flap and tuck the mitten overlays away. These really are my favourite gloves.

I really love the Trailhead gloves. While at first glance and feel they seem thin, the fact that there is both finger gloves, and a "mitten" type cover makes these gloves very versatile. The material both breathes well, and when the "mitten" portion is one the fingers, the are remarkable warm. This is especially great for running because my hands start out cold, and then warm quickly. Being able to both cover and uncover my fingers when they get too warm or too cold is awesome. The "mitten" part is fully attached, but can be squished into a sown in pouch on the top of the hand. This makes popping some fingers out of the mitten to cool, or grab something, or use a phone, etc. super simple. I have walked and run in them in temps down as low as 20 degrees with little issue. (Personal comfort may vary - these are not true winter gloves, but they cut the wind and some cold temps well.) The Trailhead logo on the back of the mitten and silver band reflect light well for night runs.Overall, I am very happy with these... and this is my second pair. I purchased my first about a year ago and they are still holding up. I just needed another pair for when I throw them in the wash.
