I recently had some car trouble and thought about ways to be more visible when pulled over on the side of the road. This tool caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. This emergency light runs on two AA batteries. Once the batteries are installed, press the button and the light turns on. There are three light modes available: low, high, and flashing. A press of the on/off button toggles between the settings. The video briefly shows the light toggling between light modes. The first photo shows how bright the light is in the daylight on the low setting. The side arms can be left folded into the stick or pulled out in order to form an arrow. The handle on the light contains a strong magnet that attaches to metallic areas of the car. In photo 3, you can see where I’ve attached the light to my truck. I also purposely took the photo inside the garage so you could see how bright the light is in limited sunlight. This light in the shape of an arrow will help other drivers see when a car is on the side of the road and to (hopefully) slow down and/or move over.Since the light stick uses led lights, the two AA batteries should last for quite some time when the light stick is being used.

I got this as a addition to my car emergency kit. The light is bright enough to be seen from a distance. The arms are really nice since you can use the magnetic base to attach it to your car and set the arms to point and direct traffic away from your vehicle should you be on the shoulder. It's fairly thick around so you can grip it easily if you need to carry it around and direct traffic. The bright setting is bright without being blinding which is nice. However, since it's not extremely bright you should always pay attention and be sure other drivers actually see you.

This came from the vendor in an unbranded cardboard box that was scotch tape sealed. Inside was just the light inside a fabric case. You put 2 AA batteries into it & then you can turn on a steady or fast or slow blinking light. You can expand the 2 edges to make an arrow, or leave them in to use as a directional bat-ton.This replaces a similar looking unit that turned out to only be a thin plastic sleeve with a string of LEDs stuck in it — someone pushed against it on the seat & it collapsed. This unit is much more durable, is very easy to grab and extend the edges out if you want to. I love you can put your own batteries in so it can last many more years than things that become obsolete when their batteries fail to charge.Great Quality, and I’d definitely get it again.

this is very bright, i think at night the low mode is all you need. i would only use the bright and flashing mode during the day. very nice magnet and strong. if you get stuck on the side of the road, this is very nice to have to give more warning that you are there. especially if you are in an area that gets snow storms and you get stuck in the snow..... this would stand out way more then your flashers.

This product is handy to have for breakdowns and flat tires. The magnet is strong enough to hold it on your car, and it is covered in plastic so that it doesn't scratch your paint. I also like that it is battery charged instead of being rechargeable because it will sit in your trunk for months (or even years) before needed. I've removed the batteries and placed them in the sleeve that it comes in, in case the batteries leak. My only "issue" is with how the batteries are replaced/added. The battery cover is VERY difficult to remove - not something I want to deal with in an emergency. It is also a little difficult to see in bright daylight and would be much better at night.

There’s a high and low solid setting as well as a flashing version. Wings spread out or just use it as a stick. Base is magnetic and is part of the battery cover. Requires 2 AA batteries. There appears to be a nut socket for something like a monopod. When in an emergency, this is just the right tool, especially at night.
