I started training in Muay Thai earlier last year and I wanted a pair of shorts that were similar to Muay Thai shorts but not completely the same because I was not ready to make the switch from boxing shorts to Muay Thai shorts. These shorts felt like a good middle ground. The material is very good and comfortable but the leg openings are terrible. They allow no room for kicking and even for normal boxing I often felt my legs straining against the shorts when training. These shorts have some great upsides but if you plan to do anything major with them you should move on to something else.
