I use these type locks for locking out electrical/mechanical devices so I don't get killed on the job. I really like them because when they are locked, you have to remove the key. This way no one can unlock it without your knowledge. Which is of course, the whole idea. Now if I can just get the TSA to stop removing them from my tools box when I fly.

Works great for the LOTO application it is being used for. The locks are durable with clear key code markings to assist with LOTO usage.

In the Lock Out, Tag Out, Check Out procedure having plenty of locks that are UL listed for the activity means a lot, two keys one for the individual who is actually locking out the breaker an tagging it, then checking to ensure the correct circuit was shut of, locked and tagged out. The right lock is a requirement these meet this requirement I like them a lot.

These are easy to pick although mine came with good bitting. It was not difficult to put some spools or serrated pins in. Cylinder is held in with a seventh pin that can be lifted from the back while the key is in (that's also why you can't overrotate and dump the pins like you can on a master 410). Cylinder is skeletonized so you really want to shim before removing. Other than that nothing unusual. Great value, I'll probably end up picking up more of these eventually.

Just as advertised. Packaged safely, securely, and in individual boxes. Each lock is keyed separately just as advertised. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again. These are well worth the cost. Literally has saved my life following LOTO standards. Prevented someone from energizing a 480vac circuit while I was working on it.

I bought these for shutdown work at and industrial plant and for the price they seem pretty decent. These are shown as being yellow which is required for contractors where we are working and the locks that were sent are blue. Not a big issue because we can wrap them with yellow tape but if it shown as being yellow they should be able to expect yellow. That being said the quality looks good and the number stamp on the keys is bold enough that by old eyes can read it which is good. Time will tell but they seem to be good quality for the money.

I am very pleased with these locks. First, you should know that I use these to practicing lockpicking, not for their intended LOTO function. But for locksporting, these are great. The build quality is quite nice overall. Just as the ABUS 71/40, these can be disassembled non-destructively. The core is installed very securely and unlike the Masterlock 410, it doesn't jiggle around. Also unlike the 410, it has a flat bottom and can stand up on its own.The keyway is far easier to access than either the Masterlock 410 or Abus 71/40. Don't let that fool you though, these are still a challenge to pick. Tensioning from the top is a bit tricky due to the width and close proximity of the first pin. It can certainly be done, but the wrench tends to slip out easily. I haven't yet disassembled any of these, but I am certain there are some spools. I didn't feel any serrated pins, but I'm unsure of that. Just like the 410 and 71/40, these locks have 6 pins. I included a picture of the keys in the set I received. One in particular is very nasty and I have yet to successfully pick that guy. It will probably be a good long while before I open up number 02135 without a key.I like that these are available in different colors. It is nice to differentiate between my other locks. The pictures that I took don't show it, but these did have a sticker on both sides. One side is like it's shown in the listing's picture, the "locked out, do not remove" stuff. The other side has four lines where you could write stuff on them, and a "property of" at the top. Each lock and corresponding key both have the same unique number printed on them to make keeping track of everything easier. One thing to note however, the number on the lock body is laser printed. The listing's pictures make it appear as though the number is physically cut into the plastic. It's not a big deal to me as the picture does indeed say it's printed on. And it seems to be durable enough to hold up. Scratching at it doesn't really affect it.
