Instructions for the learning process
Before installing the tire pressure sensor, first check that the new sensor OE number matches the sensor OE number of your original vehicle. If it is different, the installation and learning process will not proceed.
Position relearn type: OBD relearn
Preparation: A proper TPMS tool is required to learn new sensor IDs, such as: T5508, TS601, 9067S TPMS tool, etc.
-Relearn procedure:
1. Put the vehicle in P and apply the handbrake, install the tyre pressure sensors correctly.
2. Ensure that all tyres are inflated to the pressure shown on the tyre placard. (located in the door panel of your car) Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
3. Starting with the LF tyre, use the TPMS tool to trigger each sensor in the following order: LF, RF, RR, LR & full-size spare (if fitted).
4. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
5. Connect the TPMS tool to the OBD Ⅱ port, then write the sensor IDs.
6. Turn the ignition off, then on.
7. Test drive above 30 km/h (19 mph) for at least 10 minutes to ensure that the tyre pressure monitoring system is working properly (TPMS light on). If not, go back to step 4 and repeat the process.
