Easy to set up. Great function. Good App. Great Value, Excellent clarity, wide angle lens. Sound and microphone are not super sensitive, but they do work well enough. They do need 120V power to operate, but the network connection is wireless and over your Wireless LAN or Wi-Fi.

Works great. I had some Samsung cameras but last month the app they use was taken down because it's so old ..I think it was called SmartCam. I'm actually happy that's happened, because these cameras have way better picture quality and are faster and easier to use. And it's much better than Ring because there's no subscription unless you need cloud. Other than that everything is free all of the features are free and it's great!For people saying that they won't connect.. I had a problem with one of the cameras not connecting and it was simply because my routers uses both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and these cameras only use 2.4. So you have to find a way to make sure your router is using the 2.4 when you set these up. I'm on a Nest system and you can't select between 2.4 or 5 so it took a couple of tries for it to register on the 2.4 frequency.

Super simple to setup on my home wireless network.Video quality is great.Software is free and has all the pan-tilt, tracking, detection, privacy modes that one might need, and easy sharing access to other family members.I am using 128gb memory cards for local storage.Using the app, it is easy to look at the clips that were automatically saved upon motion detect, and it is easy to download any clips you need archived to protect from overwrite due to loop save mode. I am not using the paid cloud storage which seems a little pricey.A lot of bang for buck.

As a parent of a young child and a pet owner, I found these cameras to be incredibly versatile. The 2K resolution provides crisp, detailed images, making it easy to check on my sleeping baby or monitor my dog when I'm away.The pan and tilt feature is a standout, allowing me to remotely adjust the camera's view through the app. This proved particularly useful when my toddler moved out of frame or when I wanted to scan different areas of a room.The two-way audio function works well for soothing a fussy baby or giving commands to a pet. The built-in siren, while loud, offers an added layer of security if needed.Night vision is clear and effective, providing reassurance during nighttime check-ins. Motion detection alerts are customizable and generally accurate, though they can be overly sensitive at times.Setup was straightforward, and integration with Alexa allowed for easy voice control. The option for both cloud and local storage is appreciated for flexibility and privacy concerns.One minor drawback is that the app can occasionally be slow to connect, causing a slight delay in live viewing.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el Tapo C211. El dispositivo funciona de maravilla para mi bebe, ofreciendo una calidad de video nítida y confiable. La configuración fue sencilla, y la aplicación complementaria es intuitiva y fácil de usar, permitiéndome acceder al video en tiempo real y gestionar las funciones del equipo sin problemas. I did hours of research trying to find a budget friendly, quality camera, WITH NO SUBSCRIPTION. This camera is perfect! I use it to check in on my cats during the day since I leave at 4am and get home at 2pm. The night vision and day vision camera quality is surprisingly good (the camera doesn't zoom in but you can zoom in on your screen on the app). The app is easy to use as well and I haven't had any connectivity issues at all. My Wi-Fi is 5ghz but in the My Spectrum app it lets you switch it to 2.5ghz temporarily to set up the camera and it was super easy and worked well. I have been using the camera for a week now and I don't regret buying it (except I should have got a 2 pack). It has a privacy mode to turn off the camera when I am home which is nice. The cable is probably close to 8 feet long. The speaker is decent and it has a mini SD card slot. I like that it also has an option for both motion detection and person detection. I don't want notifications every time my cats run back and forth but I do want to know if there is someone in my house so I leave only the person detection on and it works 100% of the time (my mom goes over to visit them and it always sends notifications). I use it for security at night too with the alarm system you can set up. You can chose lights, siren, or both and you can set it for manual on or scheduled. Gives me an extra peace of mind on the nights I am home alone. 100% recommend this camera (save yourself the hours of research, I did it for you)!!!
