The product did not come with instructions or the original packaging. This made it impossible to set up and use. While I was able to find a YouTube tutorial, it was unsuccessful. I understand that the product was refurbished but it should have come with instructions. After many unsuccessful attempts to get it to work, I had to return it.

I have had two of these routers--they are fast, the coverage in my 2000 sft home was even and the signal strong, and it works well with even my older modem. Just know that these models in particular seem very vulnerable during thunderstorms. My first one died because of lightning (apparently hitting my electric supply in the device), after just two weeks of using my replacement (same model), lightning took that one out for good as well. I have since downgraded to a cheaper model--that doesn't seem to be as vulnerable (though I normally unplug my devices before leaving the house now, I forgot it once, but the replacement router is still working fine). But if you are not living in an area with strong thunderstorm or you are home and can unplug, this is a great router.

Besides the headline here's the bad, if you use the ethernet ports you will be bottle necked @ 100mbps so you feed this thing internet through the ethernet port even the wifi will be limited to 100mbps, the good, i knew this when i bought it and have no intentions of using the ethernet at all i'm using this little thing as a extender and setup was a breeze. Now with my $300 MSI mobo came with this shark fin antenna 100 feet away from the router through a solid concrete wall i was getting 560/685 on my transmit and receive i bought some cheap 8dbi antennas popped them on now my connections is 760/760 my plex server is about 20 feet closer yet still behind said solid concrete wall and gets 885/885 mbps. Now in the bathroom my phone gets about 70% signal and holds steady this is x2 concrete walls and 150 feet away so for 20 bucks this is a great little device i'm not a fan of wifi but some times you have no choice.

Bought this to deal with lag in online gaming while other house mates used the connection. With QoS enabled (and the PS4, on WiFi, set to 'priority' in the Qos settings) all lag has been completely eliminated - even with 2 TVs streaming and other devices using the network.Running an Ookla speed test without a device set to priority will show ping spikes during the download and upload test. Ping will jump up to 300/400+ at moments. If I set that same device to 'priority', the download and upload ping will remain low and stable across the duration of the test.As other people have mentioned, this router WILL limit your Internet connection speed (that is data coming in and going out from your location) to 100Mbps. This is because the WAN port is only 100Mbps max.Our connection is actually 300Mbps, but we only stream and game so it really doesn't matter, 100Mbps is enough for that. Low and consistent latency is more important. This may not be the case for others. If you are trying to find a router with good, simple QoS and don't care so much about absolute bandwidth, for $20 you can't go wrong with this.
