The missing star is because they used a proprietary magnetic charger. Which means if the cord is lost, you have to either contact the company and hope they send a replacement, or buy a new pair.Otherwise, these are great. I primarily use them for the gym, and the design allows me to hear my music with great clarity but also hear others nearby so there are no bumping into others.Just to verify, these are NOT bone conduction. The "speaker" sits just outside your ear, allowing you to hear conversations while some directional play sends the sound directly into your ear. The design sits comfortably, and doesn't slip. They are lightweight, and play for several hours (didn't time it). There is also an app, which other than for initial setup, I haven't used, as they sound good out of the box.Overall, I am very happy with the low price point and the surprisingly good quality. Though this is the 2nd Tozo product I have purchased, this is levels better.

I've never used bone conducting or open ear phones and I needed something for calls but could hear around me. Bone conducting ones seem to cost a lot for decent performance. So I took a gamble on these. Never heard of the this company but if bone conducting costs so much for decent performance I had to find an alternative. These are just bigger speakers over the ear canal. I can hear everything I need to past the actual media I'm listening too. And it doesn't sound half bad. They don't get super loud but loud enough for what they're supposed to be used for. Light activity and the ability to hear around me. If you're getting this to satisfy a fad and want great sound then you need to re-evaluate your priorities as this is a open speaker concept and great sound isn't what it's meant for. I overall recommend these for the affordability and great sound and mic for ITS USE CASE. Good product. Durability will be tested and updated.-Addendum-I have a tendency to read the critical reviews first because I know what I am looking for and that doesn't help me in the sea of chinese products on Amazon. The critical reviews potentially tell me things that I don't want in a product. After reading through some of these, I know I need to look for charging issues and keeping it away from moisture. The exposed leads on the charging point seem like a problem point. sweat has salt in it, I don't know what the device has in terms of short protection but from what people are saying it is dying shortly after a sweaty run. I hope people don't assume that the salt just goes away. If you charge it with a layer of conductive salt I can see a short happening. I'd wipe it down after a good salty run. Maybe I am wrong and the short is inside as the whole things is more or less flexible rubber like material, this has potential to flex cables, solder points, and other parts, so breakages can happen there. More things I see in other reviews is that people are expecting bone conduction headphones, which it clearly says open ear headphones, not bone conduction. They look like bone conduction but are "air conduction" Which is really funny because, all headphones use air to travel to your ear unless you are underwater. It has a 16mm speaker, and for reference most earbuds have half or less than half of that size to push sound. The difference with earbuds being, the sound is sealed in your ear with nowhere to go but to your ear drum. These are OPEN ear so the sound is being lost to the air before it even gets to your ear. It will never be as good as in ear or maybe even bone conducting(Never owned a pair). The speakers aren't super loud but for walks/jogs it's fine. I used them for work so I can still hear around me and don't need it to overpower wind noise from a bike ride. For that I'd go with bone conducting but at the same time you will still have wind noise. That's the point of hearing and riding a bike.Read the product descriptions and give it it's due for what it's designed for. I hate to see reviews that are subpar because people's expectations are sky high for entry level priced Bluetooth open ear headphones. If they fool you shame on them, but from what I've seen thus far it's a pretty good at what it does for now. Let's hope my charger doesn't crap the bed. It is the weakest charging wire I've ever used. It's wire looks to be made of soft silicone or something similarly soft. Not confidence inspiring for those of you that don't do wire management. You will break the charger before the headphones break. The inner copper/metal wires are not nearly as flexible as the wire itself so if you tug or bed the wire out of shape into knots don't expect your charger to last.

Easy to use, well made, nice feel. They are a little too big for me but still fit. They are great if you don’t like overhead headphones and earphones don’t stay in your ears. Comes with an app that lets you play ambient music

I got this for my son but wanted to try it as I’ve not had any open headphones before but I saw ads about them on TikTok. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was frankly blown away by the sound quality. Volume is set loud out of the gate, being open, and surround sound is clear with good bass. (I was watching a show with it and thought some far away background noise was from my surrounding but turned out it was from the show! Lol). You can still hear sounds around you but if it’s faint and you have volume set to higher, the environment sound may not come across. If the volume is turned on really loud, someone else could hear a little bit if their head is close to the wearer’s ears. Also, my right ear’s hearing is not as good as my left and it would be nice if I could adjust the ear piece to have it lean in a little more on my right. The headphones are super comfortable as I hardly felt them; it’s nice not having buds inside your ear. I wore them all day long and they didn’t bother me at all and I am pretty sensitive to things that touch my skin. Volume controls are hard press buttons (which I prefer over touch control). There is touch control for pause which is a little sensitive but not overly. The band behind the head has structure (not wire), which does move a little when you tilt your head back or shrug your shoulders, so I’m not sure if I would prefer a soft (wire) band over this. The band and earphones is easily hidden under my long hair if I need them to be less visible. The charger that comes with it is a two prong magnetic type. I can see how some say it’s easy to get dislodged, but I have a TOZO watch with similar charging port and I don’t have a problem with it as I just place it on the table when I charge. (Side note, highly recommend the TOZO watch as it works well for the price as a first smart watch.) I guess it would be more of an issue if one is traveling (e.g., as in a vehicle) when charging. Good battery life and comes already charged. I do wish the charger for the TOZO watch would be the same as this headphone so I can just use one for both, but they are not. I didn’t download the app so not sure if that’s where it would tell me how much battery life is left. Easy to connect to Bluetooth as I tried it from multiple Apple devices and laptop with no problem. I have not tried using it for calls so not sure how my voice would come across. When turn on and off, a signal would sound, with “on” having an additional signal. I do wish when you turn it on and off, it would actually say “on” along with the battery life percentage (which my other over the head headphones do) or “off” so I can confirm if it’s on or off and whether I should charge it soon. It would also be nice if a carrying case is included, which it’s not.In all, I was pretty impressed with these and would highly recommend. If my son doesn’t use it regularly, I may just steal it to use from time to time 😁. Yes I can get my own pair but I already have so many audio devices that it’s hard to justify getting another one, but definitely tempted.
