The heavy metal machines are so nice, but almost more like a piece of furniture and heavy. Theyβre nice, but expensive. This is a fun alternative. I Bought this as a treat for my grandson. Kids love watching the gumballs come down the track. I like that you donβt HAVE to put in coins, though in some instances thatβs not a bad idea to limit consumption and accessibility. He loved it. Good size, looks cute, fun for kids. Light weight but better built than the ones at the general stores. Got the gum to go with it. Happy kiddo. Only 4 stars bc nothing really compares to the heavy metal bases with glass containers for the gumballs. But this is a very reasonable option and more realistic investment with a fun little journey for the gumball to get from point A to point B. It was a good purchase and well received.

The machine itself looks fairly generic and did not come with many gumballs. Glad I ordered more after reading other reviews! My son was still thrilled to get one for Christmas, but weβve yet to open it. Hoping it works well.

I have it in my kitchen sitting in from of me so I or my family can have if they are using the kitchen/family computer.Only thing that was confusing, is that it DID NOT come with enough gumballs to fill the reservoir.I luckily ordered this early for my son and daughter's graduation party and was able to order more gumballs to arrive in time for the party:)
