It's Thanksgiving, the family is crowded around the kitchen table waiting for the massive feast you've been preparing over the past few days, and no one is helping you clean. You slide the turkey out of the oven to baste it one more time, and stock drips all over the place, sending you over the edge. Not with our Dripless Baster. It allows you to freely use your baster without leaving messy drips in your oven, on the stove top, or on the counter. Designed to maximize basting capacity without wasting a drop. Included in this piece is a cleaning brush, useful for reaching those tough to clean places. This multi-tool makes food prep a breeze

This baster works great. After my old baster of 20 years kept not working, I bought this one after reading several review rankings online from culinary magazines, all which recommended this one as the best baster for best usage and not dripping. Just cleaning this is easier, as it has a removable tip, and actually came with 2 removable tips, plus a cleaner. I usually just stick the baster in the dishwasher which cleans it fine, but it's good to have the option to hand-wash. I use the baster to make Thanksgiving turkey, plus use it periodically during the year as I'm cooking other dishes. As I probably will only use this about 3-6 times per year, I expect this to last for the rest of my life. The plastic is heavy duty and nice, so seems very durable. Would highly recommend.

This is a great baster, its easy to use and clean. My favorite part about it is the noise it makes. I like to honk it at my SO and pretend I'm a goose.Highly recommend, it will make thanksgiving better.

Finally, a baster that doesn't drip...after you play with it a bit to see how it works and what technique results in the least amount of dripping. One does have to be patient and experiment with water for a bit to see how much, how fast and at what angles the baster leaks the least but it is by far the best one we have tried. It cleans easily and I like that a brush for cleaning and an extra tip are included. It is solidly made and I expect it to last a long time.

I waited until after Thanksgiving to write this review. I only use them once a year. This is great! It's made of really sturdy plastic & a durable rubber. It came with a spare tip & a little cleaning brush. I don't know if it was a fluke or not but mine made a soft 'poot poot' fart sound. It doesn't affect the performance or anything, but it is something to keep in mind if you have kids or even a husband! The farting turkey jokes will fly!

No cringe basting with this thing. With all my old basters, basting liquid traditionally sprayed all over the oven, the oven door, the counter, the floor. But this baster truly holds onto the liquid until the bulb is squeezed.

Easily withstands high heat, when suctioning off gease from pan of ground meat (cheaper kinds gets melted shut by this). Machine washable. Doesn't splash out liquid when moved from one location to another. Never thought I'd have to much to say about a baster! Very impressed, and expect it will last a long time.

I use this to feed my Fry, clean up the tank and even remove unwanted snails/pests. I rid my shrimp tank of Planaria by catching them in this, the non drip factor works well in all respects of use.

One of the problems with most basters is that they are for ... wait for it ... BASTING. So it does not matter that they are dripping from the moment you fill them up, because you are basting the turkey (or whatever) from the drippings in the roasting pan. But I use mine to strain off hamburger drippings from the frying pan (and other liquids from cooking) and need them not to just pour out as I move across the range surface to the jar I am squirting the drippings into. Now, this is not to say it does not drip at all. But if you hold it at a downward angle, basically the angle you were suctioning at, perhaps 35 degrees from horizontal, they TEND to hold the liquid to cross gaps. Lower the handle, though, and bloop, the liquid comes out even if you have not squeezed the bulb. But this ability to carry liquid without dripping is something most basters do not do. (Those little basters.)Although it comes with a cleaning pipe brush, I just take the bulb off and hang both the tube and the bulb on two spindles on the top rack of the dishwasher. If you are a purist, though, you can unscrew the black, angled tip of the baster and clean to your heart's desire with the conical pipe brush included. Or use the dishwasher as I do and use the pipe brush as a white, tall Christmas tree on a model railroad layout.

This is the best baster that I have ever purchased. The suction is very strong . It comes with its own little brush to clean . The tip ot the baster is removeable so if any food particles are stuck , they are easy to remove. It is a good price for a top quality product.

After living with a defective Oxo baster for a few years, I was so psyched to get a baster that worked!Lets compare:Oxo: Cheap tube plastic that looked like acrylic that could crack if I hit it. It's bulb connection was also designed to not hold well.Tovolo: Strong, thick tube plastic that looks like glass, but is frosted. Pretty sturdy with excellent bulb nipple.Oxo: A thin bulb that never quite fit snugly. SUCKED!Tovolo: A thick rubbery bulb that fits so firmly that it takes a little finesse to get it on and off. No worries, you'll get it.Oxo: Leaked juices and rarely held the full fill. Probably carried .5 ounces most of the time.Tovolo: Holds every drop. Tested it and it sucked up 2 ounces without a problem, with ONE, singular drop lost. I mean ONE!PLUS:The no-drop spot is AWESOME ! ! ! And they added an extra, in case you loose the first one.BOTTOMLINE:A simple kitchen product that is just made better than most competitors. Tovolo didn't try to save 10 cents on the plastic, it made a solid product.
