This was gotten for 2 of my grandchildren to be their first cooking set. It was perfect for both children, the measuring cups led to some new math lessons for the home-schooled child. The set is perfect for both girl or boy. The utensils are real, do work and are sturdy. My granddaughter loved being able to use tools fit for her and help cook supper for everyone. A budding chef in the making.

We invested in this for our 5 and 4 year olds and are thoroughly impressed with the exceptional quality, which rivals what I'd choose for everyday use. Bought this for my granddaughter who will be 4 in April. She loves it and is learning a lot about cooking and how to use all the utensils needed to cook with and the safety features. The only issues we had with the kit was the timer didn't work (not a big deal for us - but was part of the kit and should work), and the knives could be better. They don't cut as good as they need too and makes it hard for her to understand how to use a knife correctly and safely. No regrets on buying for her!

These are excellent utensils. My kids have been using them for a couple of years now and while they are durable, they are also good quality. My kids have learned how to safely cut for dinner with this set.

My stepdaughter wanted her own cooking set for Christmas, and this one definitely did not disappoint! She's already tried several of the recipes, and they are phenomenal in themselves, but the quality of the cookware stood the test, and the dishwasher! I like that there are kid friendly knives included so she can use them on her own and actually cut things without us worrying about her, and the carrying case is perfect so her things do not mix with what we already have in the kitchen! Her only complaints were that she wishes the whisk were just a bit bigger when making big batches of pancakes, and that she got another cutting board....Take that as you will, but we are giving this 5 stars!
