I’m a plumber and bought these when I was above 300lbs (thankfully below now) and even then, they were the best kneepads I’ve ever used. Very comfortable even crawling on rocks/ concrete/ and every other crawlspace surface. I never have To adjust them and even at my size, they fit well without stretching. My first pair were left on a job and stolen and I immediately bought the same brand. I always recommend them to coworkers.

I have had my first pair for 3 1/2 years and I am still using them every day. The velcro on the main part of the strap is starting to separate from material a little where the excess strap from the knee pad hook attaches but they still work fine. I have put these knee pads through hell and back doing everything from roofing to building buildings and decks. I would where them every day all day and they are so comfortable once they are broke in good I sometimes forget I have them on. I just bought another pair to make sure I have a backup because they are that good that I do not see any reason to try a different brand or even a different model from Toughbuilt. You can use these on any surface without having to worry about damaging or marking the surface. If you need some knee pads you can wear all day without any discomfort these are the ones.

While the item was correct, intact, and in acceptable condition. The packaging was not. It comes in a bag, not a box. The bag had large holes, scratches and damage to it. It for some reason is also filled with plastic beads. They serve no real purpose at all, just a nuance. The item in question is great, toughbuilt is known in construction, tile work, and aviation for ramp agents as a great choice when working long hours on your knees. The padding is exceptional, slip resistance is also good. The Velcro straps are a tad confusing at first if you don’t read the small instructional pamphlet it comes with. The value is great, although, you can find it as low as 45 USD at harbor freight. The sizing fit me perfectly, so I see no problem it fitting thinner legs or larger ones.

I suffered a knee injury years ago and all knee pads and knee supports have work have been so rubbish and uncomfortable. The only thing in my past that was comfortable was a knee brace I bought when I was injured. So when my old injury was starting to resurface again I thought I'd look around for some new knee pads for work and I tried everything from wrap arounds, to ones you slip into your trouser knee pockets to soft and hard shells and they have all been rubbish. Then I found these. These instantly reminded me of that comfortable knee brace I wore when I was injured so I have to give them a go.... I am so pleased I did! They stay in position, they don't slip down your legs every time you kneel down or stand up. They are really chunky so when you are in the kneeling position they take the strain off your ankles. The gel padding is super comfy too.I've been wearing them directly on my skin with my shorts over lapping the top strap so the knee pads don't look too overkill, but my colleague still calls me Robo Rhys when I wear them, but I am ok with that.I think these knee pads really helped me when I slipped off a patio step, I fell sideways but the knee pad stopped me from twisting my knee so I am most thankful I was wearing them at the time.Tbh the only flaws I have about these were: 1) The price, but having bought them I have found out why they are so expensive, they are definitely worth it. 2) When you kneel down they still aren't 100% comfy behind the knee, you can still feel the pinching sometimes (but I have only worn them on bare skin) and honestly these are still far far better than any other knee pads I've worn. 3) They do make your knees sweat in the heat! Lol 4) They are super bulky, but understandably so.

After not being able to walk due to infection and burst bursa sack under the knee cap, I wasn't sure how I could return to work. Working on my knees 5-7 hours a day on trucks and trailers would have been impossible without these knee pads. They don't slide down or twist around. Super comfortable as well. Great design. Well worth the money.

I work for a foundation company, where I'm in crawlspaces on a daily basis. I have bad knees due to multiple injuries and a motorcycle accident, and one of my knees has a total knee replacement. It's not an easy task moving around on my knees and they hurt without some form of protection on them. I have tried many style and brand pads, and many have 'helped' but none were perfect. Most with the single strap behind the knee would shift, slide down, or worse rotate and make crawling difficult. That all changed when I tried these pads. The double strap design holds them in place all day. The fact the strap is not in the fold of the back of the knee means all day comfort. The thigh support makes it easy to be upright on your knees and still maintain balance. The ergonomic design means the cap of the pad makes good contact with the ground. If you are in an industry where you work on your knees or have a need for knee pads, these are the way to go. Well worth every penny. Durability is up there as well. Mine look as if they have been through a war and back, and still work and feel like the day I bought them. No more knee pain at the end of the day from my job.

I just received these as an upgrade to my previous multiple brands of kneepads. I chose to upgrade due to the pain and discomfort of standard kneepad straps bunching up behind my knee which puts pressure on the tendons as well as rolling into a large pile of fabric and straps directly behind my knee. The straps above and below the knee are amazing so far. The shin protrusion to relieve pressure from your feet seems to be a nice addition also although it will require some getting used to after 45 years of using standard kneepads. I purchased these for multipurpose use but much of it will be alongside vegetable garden beds. The outer knee cups are rigid plastic. They appear to be a softer material in the images but they are in fact a slightly textured black plastic. To test initial durability I dropped from a standing position to my knees without any support from my arms. I felt almost nothing in my knees from that quite extreme impact on a cement basement floor. The only sensation I had was the impact caused by the sudden jarring stop which is so be expected. For reference I am 5'9" tall and about 165 pounds. That made the drop from standing directly to my knees around 2-2.5 feet. Very Impressive! I only wish Toughbuilt offered a version of these kneepads with the interchangeable knee cup covers that snapped off and on like their more standard ones. It would be a huge benefit to be able to add a soft non-marring type cap cover, a rubber footed stability cap or even replace the hard plastic cup after they wear out. The rigid plastic only caps may be an issue on a smooth and slippery floor like marble, ceramic, smooth laminate flooring or laying roofing. I will try to update my review for durability of the product after I am able to put in hours of use. I rated Durability at 4 stars already just based on the perception of build quality and the drop to my knees test causing almost no marks at all on the caps and almost no discomfort. My opinion at this point... Highly Recommended! This is an upgrade that you will not regret if you get tired of the pain behind your knee from standard kneepad straps

i am a double amputee. below knee. I wore a set of cheaper kneepads out at least once a month! i am working on my house, building ramps for wheelchair access, and redoing walls and doors. i walk on my knees more often than using my chair.AND THESE have lasted me a couple months so far, with nothing more than scuff marks on the knees.the gel makes me able to wear them comfortably ALKL day, and they do not chafe, or wear spots into the skin on my knees. WELL worth the money. i will be buying a second set soon, just in case they are no longer available or sold out when i do need a new set. and once i am down to one set again, i can guarantee i will buy another back up set.Adjustments? Simple. and effective.Update, daily use of these, 7 days a week, and for over a year, and they are FINALLY starting to break down. I have to say, given that i am doing construction on my house while wearing these as welkl? They have taken a beating. through glass and concrete, nails and screws, NO damage to my knees at all. AND they allow me excellent balance while i am doing the tasks i want to accomplish.WELL worth EVERY penny. The clasps are still intact, have not worn out or broken at all. By FAR, the Best i have EVER worn. will be replacing these with yet another set.
