Got these to trim the extra thick hooves on our Nigerian Dwarf buck. Regular trimming shears that we use on other goats couldn't cut through his hooves. These, however, worked perfectly! If you have small hands, it's a little harder to use these, but I was still able to get the job done. It should be super easy for anyone with average sized hands.

I've used this on a full size horse hoof and 5 goats so far. It is a fair value for the money and paid for itself already. It is not the level I would use as a daily professional nipper, but I didn't expect that for the price. I bought it as a backup while my $200+ nippers are being serviced. The cutting edge was even and seemed sharp but the bevel is too steep. They will need a shallower bevel to the cutting edges for my continued use. Size and weight is good. Handles are a little blocky so wear gloves to avoid blisters.

Arrived quickly, sharp and ready to use! I bought these for my Boer cross goats. They work really well, even when their hooves are hard during dry weather. They open up wide enough to nip off heel material.

Awful nippers. I keep my horses' feet nice and healthy. These could not even trim through the thin walls of our 12h pony. I cannot use longer nippers because of his size, but still resorted to my old ones. I'd rather tap his sides than fight through his hooves. These more or less clamped down onto the hoof, GOT STUCK, and I literally had to pry downwards to break through the wall. Yes, BREAK. The force I had to use just to get through one clip. I immediately switched, these are trash and don't belong anywhere near feet.

These are perfectly aligned and sharp, good strong tools that you can count on for a long time, I've had these for almost half a year and boy are they a lifesaver. Using these on a mini pig (all 130lbs of mini) and they're perfect for the grunt work.

These nips are light years above the ones I was using...great leverage...easy to use with one hand and the blade profile is nicely thin, so they don’t press before cutting, which makes a lot less squirming and trying to pull the hoof away. Stout metal handles that don’t bend!

Bought this product to trim my goats. Worked considerably better than foottrot shears. Much less standing on your head to find the right cutting angle. Priced very reasonably compared to nippers at our local ranch store. No blisters, no sweat. Heavy duty construction.
