I was pleasantly surprised by the nice quality of this halter. It is a rich brown- not chestnut, not really havana, but very pretty on my bay filly. I actually used this at her warmblood inspection and it was perfect as a show halter. I do not know its durability as I am keeping it to use on next year's foal for inspection but it was quite nice.My only complaint is that the crown piece buckle almost looked tarnished when it arrived. I could not return it was I really needed it and it wasn't a deal breaker but still.
