The screen replacement wasn’t too difficult to install, and the toolkit was helpful. However, the screen clarity is not the same as the original. I’ve noticed some inner reflections that you eventually get used to, but it’s definitely not as crisp. It gets the job done, but if you’re picky about display quality, it’s something to keep in mind.

Cheap digitizer, installation does need a bit of care. All in all I have a somewhat working screen. Dead spots so I won’t be able to utilize my iPad for digital art. Be sure to take care to get all the glass out if your screen shattered like my old one I replaced. If you are lucky to have one without dead spots then this is a steal. Not worth the gamble for me.

I had to take apart the ipad multiple times. Reseating the contact multiple times. I'm not happy with this digitizer.I've repaired 5 other ipads successfully with other digitizers and they all went well.But this one? Thumbs down.

This is a tedious repair made worse by the fact that the screen I received was defective. I can say without a doubt the screen was defective because I can plug in my old (not so badly cracked) screen back in and it works perfectly. This new replacement touch sensitivity just didn't work at all. I am ordering a new one and hopefully the new one works.
