I love this gym! It truly does what it advertises. It is a total gym, for sure. I'm a heavy girl who didn't work out before this. Don't let anyone say this isn't good for overweight beginners. It's amazing! I highly recommend it. Worth the price. It's an investment for a better you!

I'm still trying to learn and get use the Total Gym pilates system. Eventhough it doesn't feel as comfortable like the Pilates Reformer machine is a nice addition to my Total Gym workout.

First off, I have a vintage 2003 era Total Gym Supra which I purchaded at Sears. I have used it off and on for years, and now is an "on" time, so I'm acquiring additional attachments. I ordered the Pilates "kit" with the bar, DVD, rope/pulley, cable extension, and a pair of ankle cuffs. The bar is great. Nice and strong. The DVD has a photo on both the sleeve and DVD of a young, buff female using the Total Gym, and states "Featuring Simon & Martine Scott." When I play the DVD, it's actually another woman entirely (no second person at all), and very low resolution. I already had a rope/pulley assembly that came with the Supra, which is longer than the new one. The new rope has a carabiner on one end and a ring on the other end, so you can't use it without the extension, which has a carabiner on each end! I think it would be better to have the ring on the extension, and two carabiners on the rope/pulley. That way, a shorter person can use the rope/pulley by itself, and taller people can easily add the extension. The "pair" of ankle cuffs are actually 2 identical cuffs. They have 4 rings each and two velcro straps with another strap that goes under your foot. Fairly nice quality, but they are both right (or is it left?) handed. You wrap the velcro on the outside of one ankle but on the inside of the other, which is a bit awkward. In conclusion, if you already have a rope/pulley attachment, just order the Pilates bar alone and buy a third party pair of cuffs. The DVD is ok, but not as advertised! BTW, the kit DOESN'T include the piece you need to attach the pulley to the Total Gym for a reason: not all Total Gyms are identical! My Supra's tower is narrower that the FIT or XLS. if you owned a FIT, and got the piece for a Supra, you wouldn't be happy... Hopefully, you still have the piece that came with your machine. In conclusion, I'm not saying don't buy the kit, but letting you know what you're getting. In my case, I would have been better off just buying the bar.

I like that it gave me the ability to do “”some Pilate exercises. It’s not as good as a reformer by any stretch of the imagination but it still adds something different to your total gym workouts.

The Pilates Kit includes the best foot bar to use with the TOTAL GYM XLS. I work out on my Total Gym 3 times a week and have for 12 years. This foot bar is superior to the one that comes with the Total Gym XLS.

This Pilates kit is of great quality. Of course it fits perfectly to my total gym and works great. I received all the items described unlike others reviews saying that they were missing one part, I received them all. Great kit, I would recommend it.
