Apparently not all probiotics are dairy free. Most cats cannot tolerate dairy (despite the common misconception that cats should drink bowls of milk). My cats face essentially looks like it melted off, see the photo. He grew gigantic sores all over his forehead that burst open. The vet suggested an allergy test, sure enough he’s allergic to dairy and this was the only product he was taking that could have caused the reaction. So $500 later, I’m returning. Wonder if the company will reimburse my vet bills because of their idiotic use of dairy based probiotics in a product for cats.

As a human I really dislike the scent and flavor. But all of my 9 kitties don't seem to mind at all. It is a heavy yeasty flavor. So they eat it without any signs of disgust. Most important, it had an immediate effect on eliminating my youngest kitty's ( 7 months) horribly bad breath. He had had a rough start in life that involved his digestive system. This (but not not the Vet's brand or other high end retail brands) solved the problem. This did. I imagine different brands utilize different strains of probiotics. There's a zillion different types, and this one includes enzymes. Glad I was lucky and this fit his individual digestive problem. So despite its price I will be re-ordering. Little Nickel now has a sweet unoffensive breath.

We have two older cats, The male was loosing his cookies all the time and had lost a lot of weight. The vet said get him on a probiotic. I bought into the high priced once a day packets but that gets expensive and he eats everything. Sure it worked but there had to be a less expensive alternative, after looking I found HealtyGut and ole Bubba is doing great with this. Suddenly the old female started losing weight and we had to place her on the same regimen and finnicky as she is; she even after a few tries was able to get used to Total Digest and she is now gaining weight again. It looks like we found a great product that is good for our old cats that makes them feel better and wont break our bank. Thanks EquaHolistics, great product!

I have 10 cats only 1 would eat this on their food if I buried it. I did not see any difference in the amount of throw up I cleaned up over the couple of weeks and it made their poop smell HORRIBLE to the point I thought there was a dead animal somewhere in my home! After I couldn’t find a dead body I stopped using this and the smell was gone. Waste of money for me.

I started using this product for my cat the end of May. My cat threw up regularly. Since I have started using this product, which has been almost 4 weeks and my cat has threw up 4 times. One was totally hair, so that may not count. She wasn't enthusiastic about eating it at first, but I learned to spread it around on her dry food, then put a little more food on top to trick her. She eats it fine then. I believe this product is helping her as so far it has lessened regurgitation by approximately 80 %.

One of our black short-hair domestic cats is very underweight and doesn't digest his food well, even though he eats a lot! We started using this on his dry food per our vet and his gut flora started seeing improvements as did his weight. We didn't have any problems with him being finicky with it, so the flavor appeals to him. Plus, for 120 days, it's a fantastic value for the money compared to other digestive aids we've tried.

I purchased the feline probiotics to aid the recovery of my sick cat. I have continued to purchase it because it has really made a significant difference for her. Prior to her illness she always had issues with digestion and consistency with going to the bathroom. Now that she's well again I have noticed that the probiotic has definitely improved her regularity as well as the form and consistency of what she is producing too. On the whole, she has a more pleasant attitude because I think she isn't spending her days constipated and her coat has become so much shinier too. I have even begun giving the product to the rescue ferrets I foster. I have seen similar positive results with them. This too is wonderful as one arrived in poor shape and very underweight and is now fat and sassy.

I was soo frustrated not knowing when my cats would throw up and WHERE!!! .... I had to do something! I saw an ad for another product that was WAY more expensive and I googled info on different products and found this one! It's been almost a month and not one instance of vomit anywhere where before it was at least 3 times a week! I was worried that they would not eat their food if I mixed it in and honestly initially they walked away but came back an almost liked the plate clean! I highly recommend this product for those who suffer the same pain that I had.
