Rechargeable battery lasted for a full year, thereafter, it has to stay plugged in or use alkaline batteries to use. Accurate weight and price…good product.

Bought our scale in 2018 and didn't use much. Well the battery finally went dead and when I went to recharge the battery I realized there was no port on the scale to plug in a charging cord. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. There's a RS232 port, but that's not a charging port. Now we have a nice scale and now way to recharge it, wow!

This was fast shipping at a great price. It’s approved and used at local farmers markets. It’s easy to charge, remove the cord and it’s portable. This scales makes me money . It has bright numbers and easy to see from the front and back. It holds a charge and has never failed me at a five hour Market.

Very good scale for the $$$. Stainless, two displays, rechargeable battery, easy to use.This scale gets a few bad reviews for sharp edges - but they don't cause problems if you exercise normal caution. I don't know what the "longevity" of this scale will be. Some reviewers have had problems - and you don;t know how they treated the scale. Maybe it's not rugged enough for some treatment.The action and display are rock-solid with my drifting or ambiguous readings. Powers up instantly (unlike one scale we had that took a few second to 'boot". Lots of great features.Bottom line: a lot of scale for a few bucks!

I have a produce booth at a farmers' market and just had a regular scale. So it took quite some time to calculate each items weight and price. That's why i bought this scale. Read the reviews and decided it was the one for me. Had the options and the PRICE! I've used it for 2 weeks now and it sure has sped things up. Now i get to interact more with my customers instead of trying to figure out prices. Very easy to program. Only down side is the instructions are written tiny and low res. Tough to read that way. Up the price by a $1 and make the instruction sheet bigger and clearer is my only suggestion. But i REALLY like my scale. Great ITEM!

I use this scale for farmers' markets and to weigh bunches of greens for sale to grocery stores. I can read the display outdoors under my tent and it seems to be very water resistant. I forget to charge the battery all the time but it seems to last for days on a charge. I have never had it die on me. When Weights and Measures certified it, it was off .01lbs over 20lbs. This was the least expensive certifiable scale I could find, but I haven't been disappointed. It seems very well made.
