This fan arrived as it was described. It is very powerful on all 3 settings, not too loud, but loud enough to put me right ti sleep. Highly recommend. Circulates plenty of air for a large room.

the best and most powerful fan around. Bought the 20" to help our A/C spread the cool air in our bedroom, which gets very hot during the summer. I suffer from an internal thermostat condition that deprives me from sleeping during the hot days / evenings. This fan worked like a charm and we only used on the first speed, the other ones were too strong for my wife who was already sleeping with a blanket (LOL).I chose it because it had the strongest motor in its category. you should always check the current (Amperes) in the technical data sheet. The majority of the vendors hide or don't even disclose this information, which is usually a red flag. While the CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute is a valid measurement, it says more about the shape of the fan's propeller than about the motor), so I prefer to rely on the the Actual Motor Current.If you don't find the AMPERE information, you can divide the power by the voltage (you can use your home V or the one in the data sheet) to find out the actual motor current. Ex. 145 Watts / 110 Volts = 1.32 Amperes. The greater the current, the more powerful the motor is. itOf course it works with AC or DC, but I would only recommend AC fans for ambient cooling. DC fans are only for computers and toys, would never buy a DC fan for our house. By the way, this calculation can also be used on other air flow equipment such as Vacuum Cleaners or Leaf blowers.

Fantastic quality and love the 3 speeds. Problem is the base wasn’t engineered properly. Putting the fan on a flat surface and it falls over because it’s front weighted.

I have used those pedestal plastic fans for years and years, which require constant cleaning of the fan blades and eventually just die. This is a very powerful fan that won't let you down. I'm extremely pleased with the performance and how much air it pushes. As a matter of fact, I use mine specifically to direct cold air from the HVAC vents down the hallway towards the bedrooms. It works extremely well and doesn't seem to require any maintenance. Keeping in mind, this is basically a floor fan. You might want to place it on a chair. It does move lots of air, that's for certain. And, it isn't loud.

I noticed several reviews that said this fan is small. It is but it’s every bit as powerful as bigger fans that we have like this. It has a bit of vibration noise. It’s not very loud but I have it sitting on a rug upstairs and you can hear it downstairs. It’s a little annoying when you are downstairs. I love that it rotates so that it can be pointing up for air circulation without having to have it blow directly at you when it’s not hot enough to need that. I think it’s pretty good quality. I prefer metal fans over plastic. Other than the minor vibration issue, I can find nothing else about it that isn’t great. I’ve had it running almost nonstop for about 2 months and it’s still working as well as it did right out of the box.

This Tornado high-velocity floor fan is a beast! It's incredibly powerful and moves a ton of air. I love the sturdy metal construction – it feels like it will last for years. It's perfect for cooling down my workshop, and I especially appreciate the adjustable tilt head. If you need serious air circulation, this fan is a great choice.

It came packaged very well. What I loved off top was that the fan was already assembled so that's a plus. But it is truly a great fan. It get pretty hot around this time of the year and when you live in a older house it definitely makes it even hotter without AC. I was sweating hard as it get hot during the days and I was using a box fan with plastic blades and it just wasn't cutting it. My bro and My Mom got Window AC units and there's a window AC unit in the living room which make the house cooler. I was the only one without a window AC unit in my room cause I don't have $200+ to spare to buy one. Got this fan on time and set it up in my room and cut it on to the lowest speed. My hot ass room got real cool immediately. All I could do at that moment was thank GOD for this fan. The metal blades and power of this lovely fan spoke to my heart just like the Holy Spirit. I love it man I really hate to sound dramatic but this fan really allowed me to be free. I can chill in my room without sweating now even the lowest speed have my room cold as Antarctica (not really but it feels that way at times). I can cut it on for a couple hours and my room is cool even when it's hot outside. I love when it get real hot now cause I can rely on my Tornado fan to turn my room into a blizzard. You can tilt it as well which makes the cool breeze come off the wall. It make my room so cold I can only run it for about two hours cause it makes my room that cold. The only con is it's a little loud but it's very tolerable. But other than that I love it. 60 bucks well spent and I would surely do it again. If you looking for a real fan that's gonna do the job go with this one. This fan really fight against the heat foreal.
