This is a good value for a tip cleaner and extra debris pick. This is a useful tool for cleaning torch tips, carburetors, or anything with a small hole that gets clogged. The debris pick is enclosed in a screw together metallic container. It is also a great addition.Overall, this a great value for what you get. It is of the same or similar quality as other tip cleaners. I have no problem recommending this product.

This is one of those tools that you don't realize you need it until you really need it and don't have it... ... ... and then you fix whatever problem is at hand and forget that you wish you had had these in the first case, only to randomly run across a listing of said tool, realize it exists, and immediately grab it.I have been using pieces of wire and whatnot over the years and it's always kind of frustrating finding something the right size. I have had one of those tall standup propane patio heaters that a friend gave me and it's just sat unused because I could never seem to get it to work properly.So after I grabbed this on a lark, I recently looked at the patio heater and figured "eh, why not".I pulled the head off and ran these probes down whatever channels they'd fit in. I realize why the pieces of wire I had used didn't work.. the clog was pretty solid and I'd figured that it was bent or something in the valve block. No, it was some rust or other debris that had made it's way into the hose and got pushed up the line.Now my free patio heater actually works. I'm giving this old BBQ that has a dead side a suspicious glance now as well.Either way, for less than a fiver, you can't go wrong.I will say, don't be too rough with these. I can't imagine they'll tolerate much rough handling as delicate as many of the probes are.

Anyone that owns an acetylene torch knows the importance of having one of these tip cleaners. When a torch tip gets clogged they don't work right and they waste a ton of expensive gas. The technique is simple; you just stick the appropriate sized cleaning wire into the tip and work in and out a few times. It restores the tip back to it's former glory. The included pick is handy and will also work on some of the torch orifices, but it's really intended for carburetors or other small spraying devices. I didn't want to separate the 2 pieces, so I stuck the pick inside the fold up torch cleaner. It fit and closed up as it should. This cleaning set works well and the price is a pittance compared to the savings in gas and oxygen.

I still have problems holding the cutting torch at just the right distance and angle from the work. Because of that I foul the torch tip a lot. This is a great little set for cleaning the holes in the torch. It also has a little file for cleaning up the tip face. I really love the sharp little pick that came with this set. I always need a sharp pick for jobs that I do, and normally have to go find a sewing needle. This is extremely small and sharp. This set was only $4, so it’s a great price. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
