Use these sturdy metal boards together or separate. We used 2 in the laundry room and 2 in our art room. Can hold heavy tools, easy to install, look nice and have 2 sizes of holes for any sized pegs you already have. Recommend.

I recently purchased the pegboards, and they exceeded my expectations! They were very easy to install and feel extremely sturdy once mounted. They hold tools exceptionally well, even heavier items. If you’re looking for a high-quality pegboard solution, I highly recommend this product!

Having recently extended our 3-car garage to be a 4-car, I'm in the process of making the addition into a useful garage space where projects, e.g., working on vintage truck restoration, can be carried out in an nicely organized space. In come these pegboards. The 16x12 size works out quite well, given that building studs are 16" apart. My preference for something like peg boards, that may be holding a certain amount of weight, is to have them mounted to studs rather than using wall anchors. Since I'm using all 4 panels, that means 16 mounting screws. Not wanting to make that many holes in my brand new plaster finished wall, I opted to use a piece of 1/2" think wood board, cut to 32" x 24" to accommodate the 4 panels. I mounted the wood board to the wall studs with 4 long wood screws, as seen in the second attached picture; this way, only 4 holes were made in the wall. Next, the peg board panels were mounted to the wood board using wood screws, of appropriate length. The progression of installation is shown in the attached photos. When finished, I added some peg board hooks and accessories to test the boards. The installation is nice and sturdy and the peg boards work out really nicely. The quality on them is really nice, good finish, and the 2 hole sizes are really handy for just about any peg board accessory you may want to hang off these.Installation is straightforward and intuitive; instructions are included, if you need them. I ended up not using the included anchors and screws; they are very beefy and should work if you plan to install into plaster/drywall. As stated above, I prefer to mount into wall studs to make for the strongest, load bearing, installation. I used my own supplied wood screws for the installation. This shows the flexibility in installation options. Just make sure the panels are securely mounted, whichever way you end up mounting them. The accessories shown were my own, that I bought separately here on Amazon; lots of choices and varieties to suit your needs. I quickly mounted a few items, as shown in the first and last pics to test the installation. I plan to more methodically go through what items I wish to hang off the pegboards. Giving this 5 stars all the way for quality, fit and finish and ease of installation. It simply works and has allowed more effective use of the wall space in our new garage addition. Great value and highly recommended. A+++++
