Compatible with the MTX BeamRack series, the Topeak MTX dual-sided frame makes it easy to carry clothes, gear, groceries, and whatever else you want on the rear of your bike. The frame connects easily to the BeamRack, with a twist knob for security. Once attached, the frame lets you connect MTX DXP or EXP trunk bags on either side of your rear tire. Designed for commuting or touring use, the dual-sided frame measures 11.6 by 12 by 0.8 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 0.66 pounds.

El producto es de gran calidad, pero hay que tener cuidado al momento de seleccionar el producto porque la foto no cambia y podrías no saber qué estás pidiendo. Yo pedí los laterales de aluminio por error (aunque me los quedé) pero lo que realmente quería era el rack V-Type.

its only the side polls you don"t get the bike rack like it shows in the pic . 36.00 bucks only for the side polls only not a good deal at all don't get do this...

Help if instructions were clearer special about the black faster put behind the frame not on the outside..But soon figure it out now my bike looking good but am happy with the outcome.

easy to put on and easy to use have clip in top bag it makes a nice partime pannier frame with out it bag will rub on spokes.

I have owned one for ten years and took it on an 1,800 mile road trip. It does a great job of holding the weight that I have put on it and I have exceeded the weight limit many times. The one con that I have found with it is in its clamp. It is too large for most seat post and very difficult to get secured and keep it from swinging side to side while you ride.

Simple and effective. This thing saved me having to change my beloved frame so that I could lug my laptop and a change of clothes to work every day.On my seat post I do occasionally find it a little hard to tighten the screw thread adequately and still manage to close the latch - strong fingers help. Once it's on, there is relatively little side to side sway - which was a concern before buying this.If you're a short rider and don't have much seatpost available to clamp to you may need an alternative solution. It may sound obvious, but let's say that the clamp is 3" on this... that means you need at least 3" of seat post available between your frame and seat.

I have found this to be a very useful cargo rack for all my cargo needs in combination with an MTX cargo bag. With heavy loads it does occasionally drift off center but this is very minor. A clean seat post and a tight fit make this rack stay in place without much hassle. If rack movement is your only concern I'd say get this rack. I have the V-Type rack with the pannier extension and I load them to the brim and bike around at 20+ MPH no problem. Great product!
