I purchased a used bike with the Topeak bike rack and was happy to find such a versatile trunkbag with expandable panniers. I can carry as few or as many items as I need for different trips.

Had this bag for six months it was a really great solution to biking around town until I went to open it one day and the zipper just tore lose now it won’t close.Learn from my poor investment and go with another product I’ve received no help from their customer support beyond the assumption that the other zipper would work and not also come off the track.

It was exactly what I wanted except the attachment to the rack was not the same as my old one and it looked like it would not last very long, so I returned it.

I have had 2 different versions of the Topeak MTX 2.0 trunk bag before this, starting with the DX which has the extendable top, but not the side panniers, and the EXP which has the side panniers but not the extendable top. Both of those run for about $90-100. This has the best of both of them but it costs $40 extra. It's a bit outrageous but it's still a very high quality item and it works well. If you're on a budget and don't need the maximum possible space go with the EXP bag since it will give you about 85% of the space that this one does.
