I really love this vest. The materials are good quality and the battery life well better than I expected. I ordered a size large which fits perfectly. I'm 5' 9" with a 36 inch waist. I use this vest routinely because my wife is at the point where she wants the house cold. That's all I'm going to say about that. The vest set on medium keeps me comfortable while watching TV. I even use the medium setting without turning on the neck heat area when outside. The vest warms the critical parts of my body helping my arthritis. I ordered a spare battery, but found that I really didn't need it. The vest will keep me comfortable all day on the medium setting. Style wise, it fits right in with any outerwear vest. Having the ability of turn of the operation light makes is stealthy. No one knows its heated. I've owned previous types of vest that were OK, but missed the mark on connectivity of the battery, and overall upper body warmth. This vest has a solid battery connection that won't get lose during normal routines. Highly recommend the product, but the registration process is a little sketchy. If I get two years use for the price it's worth it.

This vest is perfect for early morning golf games. The great thing is as the temperature warms you can lower the settings. Great product very pleased.

I wasn’t sure if I would really like this or not because it seemed a little “As Seen on TVish, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works. I might see if I can get a second battery to accommodate long periods of time, but it heats good in all the key places.

Bought this because my husband works in a large warehouse that's partially open. He loves it. Says it works great, and keeps him nice and warm.

So in my search for a vest, I ordered one from each of the leading three manufacturers. I ordered one from Ororo, one from Soleilwear, and one from Topdot and here were my findings.I ruled out the the Ororo vest right away because they don’t run true to size. I ordered a XXL and it did t fit and was very tight. They run one to two sizes too small.I liked the Topdot vest because it heats up to 149° with 8 heating zones and their vest was a very good quality and insulated which is nice. The inside pocket that holds the battery runs horizontal so it was very convenient to change batteries while wearing the best. Unfortunately thier three way switch has some issues. On the vest they sent me the switch that controls the collar did not work so I returned it. Their 3 way switch is a little difficult to use and seems to have quality issues.Lastly is the Soleilwear vest. This vest was very good quality but not as insulated as the Topdot vest. The pocket that holds the battery on this vent runs at an angle, which makes it kind of hard to change the battery while wearing it. While this vest only heats to 140° it has 9 heating zones and so far holding up good after one week. When I bought this vest they were offering a bundle with an extra battery and I can tell you it comes in handy because their batteries take a long time to charge. Other than that, this vest seems to be the most consistent and the winner of the three.Why I am not sure how the Soleilwear vest will hold up months from now so far it is to clear winner. If Top Dot can get their switch problems figured out I wouldn’t mind trying their vest again. Hopefully the switch problem I had with the Top Dot vest was a one off and others are not having the same issues.

I've only worn it twice about 2-3 hours at a time, but it has worked great and I've only used 50% of one battery. I like how you can change the heat setting based on changes in the environment. It was a little hard to understand the instructions at first, but after I got the basics figured out, it's very easy to use. I have really enjoyed this vest more than I thought I would. It has all of these different zones so it easy to adjust if you are sitting in a car or out working and the wind is coming at you from any direction. I wear a lite jacket or a flannel shirt over this to keep the wind for blowing air through it and it keeps you warm. I would buy one again.
