Gave these out to my sewing class as a 'goodie'. When I tried using one though, the trick is to get it through the eye of the needle, then hold onto the needle and threader while you try and loop the thread over the metal hook long enough to pull it through. I thought it would be better that those wire kind, but now I'm seeing that with the wire, you have a big opening to put the thread into and easier to pull through the eye. These are okay for a giveaway, but I wouldn't buy again.

I’ve used other needle threaders but this is the most dependable . More sturdy and hasn’t failed yet.

I crochet a lot and the yarn just guides through the needle with ease. Best purchase.

I had hope this would work for thin yarn but it is too small. However, it would be ideal for threading a sewing needle. I like having a pack of them in a case. Good value!

These are nice needle threaders for large eye needles. However, They will not go through small eyes ones, I use small needles for going through little hole beads and threading the needle is difficult. Description says can be used with small eyes needles but they cannot. Unfortunately I purchased same ones twice. Will give away some.

This will definitely help with medium size eye of needles but is too big for tiny quilting/embroidery needles for which I had purchased. I am sure I will use these often enough to warrant the purchase. Easy to use.

These work really well. I have some significant eye issues and can no longer thread a needle without some level of assistance from a vision standpoint. I tried this hook type of threader as well as the type that is more shaped like a diamond (complete failure but that could be operator error). I found these hook type to be much easier to use because you don't really have to see the eye much aside from the general direction. It was easy to direct the hook through the eye of the needle by "feel" with this style threader. The diamond type didn't work for me. I also appreciated the ergonomics of the little depressions on this threader which made them easier to grip. A well thought out product.

The first one broke/cut the thread I was attempting to thread into a needle. On my second attempt with the same threader, the "hook" broke off. I tried a different one and it allowed the thread to slip off every time. The third one copied the first. Do. Not. Purchase.
