It works great for making drywall smooth. You rub it down the side of the drywall after you cut it where you see rigid edges and it will just smooth it right out. I would also buy a drywall knife so you can cut the drywall. You take the drywall knife and you score the drywall and then you bend it the other way. After you've been at the other way you slice it with a knife. Sometimes when you slice it with a knife and then break it it leaves a rigid edge so you need one of these. Use one of these to smooth it out. It really gets it smooth.

this is a relatively cheap tool. You could probably get some use out of it, maybe enough to finish your job. If you were doing work every day where you needed this tool, you might consider something a little better. It is fine, nothing wrong with it. Maybe good enough for a home repair dry wall project, one time deal.

This little guy sure is handy. Used it for beveling sheetrock to grading down Bondo. Could use to grate cheese also. Ha! Ha!
