Used a few types and these have been the best by far. Work well and hold up well

I was cursing the Wen drywall sander I had purchased to "remediate" a garage ceiling, and using it with the standard sanding disks that Wen requires you to use with their "enhanced dust removal" sander was a TOTAL pain - it was exhausting to use, and resulted in gouged spots AND a relatively poor finish. The toolant Mesh Abrasive disks TOTALLY changed my perspective about the Wen sander! The toolant disks literally smooth about 5x faster than the Wen sanding disks (and this is 180 grit toolant disks, compared to the Wen 120 grit disks), and achieve a nice featered edge MUCH more easily.Love 'em!

The edges of the pads rip easily while sanding, which causes them to leave lines. They do not last very long either.

I've had a powered ceiling sander for awhile but only had regular sandpaper for it. I've also been renovating our house, removing popcorn the "usual" way with a water sprayer and scraper - that's messy but it also adds a lot of time spent fixing the drywall that is damaged in the process.I'm on my 5th room and it occurred to me one night - why not try drywall sandpaper (which is more of a breathable mesh like this) on the power sander? So, I bought this. Within 20 minutes I had the room done. It was a miracle. the other bonus was that it didn't damage the drywall paper *at all*. In my setup I attach the 9" power sander to a vacuum unit that manages the dust, and the mesh type abrasive works a lot better with dust removal than regular sandpaper. This product turned what would have been a ~ week long project (keep in mind I am doing this part time, nights and weekends) into less than 30 minutes. I only went through 2 sheets of the sandpaper, too.No issues with this at all other than I had to go around the edges of the ceiling (near the walls) with a smaller sander (but with the same type of sandpaper), but that's not an issue with this product, just limitations of sanding in general.

I used the pads on a concrete floor I'm going to seal. Got up the residue that had been on the floor for years. Worked well with the dry wall sander I purchased.
