First off, this is NOT a heavy duty kit. Be nice to it and it will be nice to you.I first saw this kit being used by a guy I follow online and immediately put it in my Save for Later pile. I soon bought it and have used it once so far. It might sit in my took chest for a year, but it is there when I need it. I have other right angle drills, but nothing like this. It is designed to reach into those tight places other right angle drills and attachments just won't fit in to, and it does that job well. Replacement bits are available. If you can swing it, buy this kit BEFORE you need it! I have seen it go out of stock before

Very nice drill set. The construction of the adapter is on the lighter side and it uses oilite type bushings for supporting everything so it is not as wobble free as I would have liked. BUT it does the job to a decent level of quality/accuracy if you hold it steady and avoid the temptation to run the drill at full trigger. Which brings up another point going back to the lighter construction of the adapter. In the directions included they warn about not overpowering this drill adapter with too big of a drill and not over doing the capacity by using nothing bigger than 1/4" drill bit which I agree with on both points. This kit is the same one packed in a slightly different case and at twice the price when bought from a certain well known traveling tool vendor. Mine comes with me every time I go on traveling jobs for work, it has earned its space in the tool bag many times now.

I love good tools and this set will not disappoint. If you need a low low profile right angle tool set, this is one of the best out there. Anything better will cost you a ton of money. I needed a super low profile drill, but I wanted all of the attachments. You can get into some tight spaces. I needed something that could drill at a right angle in a 2 in PVC that is a 12 inches at the bottom of a spa filter assembly. I looked high and low for something that could do this job short of buying a dentist drill that would have could big dollars. Nice set. Nicely made. Good assortment of bits. Also since the drill used 1/4 inch threads, I got a couple set screws from Home Depot and fabbed a low profile grinder using a grinder bit from Dremel. I hacked off some of the Dremel grinder bit shaft and inserted it into the set screw and super glued it in. You will need a washer in between to act as a stop; otherwise the set screw will work its way too far in the drill preventing the drill to spin freely. Once again -- this is a great tool that every DIY-er should have.

I bought these to install mud guards on my Prius V without removing the wheels. Installation called for an additional 5/16" stubby bit. I spoke with customer support at Tight Fit Tools. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The installation was a breeze, as a result. For the price I would have paid the dealer to install the mud guards, I now have a set of these excellent tools for future jobs. And if I misuse a tool by mistake, all of the parts are available to rebuild them. Excellent company, making great tools. Highly recommend!

The tool quickly "stripped" out causing the attached drill to spin but the drill bit in the tool not to spin and to wobble. Also, drill bits are of low quality and not suitable to drill out a broken bolt. I opened the tool to see if the problem was repairable. The right angle bevel gears inside are made of brass, a metal too soft for this application. But they did not appear to be stripped, so I am guessing that the housing does not hold them together tightly, and this is what actually failed. The red housing is plastic, covered by a black metal sleeve. I'm hoping to find a well built tool, but this is not it.

Ok, overall I like this product. I'm building a project that has lots of very tight places and this makes it easier to get into some of those places where you need to put a precise hole but just can't get at it with a conventional drill. However, keep in mind that you'll still need to fit this attachment onto a drill and that present some problems. Some drills are too big and cumbersome so if you have an air powered drill or grinding tool then you're ok. You need something thin enough - a hand drill is just too large. The main thing I'd change on the accessory itself would be to put a hex surface on the main shaft at the point it connects to your drill. It has a smooth round surface that just doesn't give a good enough connection sometimes.Other than this, the tools is well priced for what you get and comes with everything I've needed to get into those really tight places where my other 90 degree accessories just won't fit.
