Bought this sound card for an older windows XP machine that I built to play older games. I was able to put it in and installed with no issues. Works great for my needs.

Have an old optiplex I use xp on and play with various flavors of linux. Could not find drivers that work in windows for the onboard sound and this fit the bill. The sound quality was pleasant surprise
