These run small so size up one size. They also shrink. They are soft though.

I got them for my grandsons , I got a size 14,16 , they fit real small , they gave them to my ten year old granddaughter, so at least they fit somebody, didn't have to send them back...... so order a bigger size ......

My son is that kid who puts holes in the knees of every pair of pants within a month (the super expensive "reinforced knee" pants might take a bit longer, but he still manages). Elbows are invariably threadbare, and I don't know how he gets the random holes and stains - it's almost a skill. I started with the beautiful boutique clothes for him when he was little, and now I'm at the "go and see what you can find in the $5 used-uniform bin" at school, because I'm so done. I don't even try making him presentable for school any more. Enter these hoodies...Either he likes them so much that he takes better care of them, or they are genuinely better quality than most of his clothes, because we're a couple of months in and there's not a single hole in any of them, and all stains have washed out so far. He's a total hoodie kid and wears them most of the time, so the fact that they're still in one piece speaks volumes to me. Whatever the reason, at this price, I'm thrilled!They don't look like anything particularly special to me, and they aren't super thick (which is a plus in Houston), but they get the job done, and my son loves them. They don't require double drying, like some heavyweight hoodies do, and I really appreciate that - they can go straight from the dryer to the drawer without that awkward "do I dry it again or just let it sit out for a while" interim. They fit him just right, and he's exactly 50th percentile in age and weight, so I'd say that sizing is spot on.Great basic, well-made clothing item that parents will love! I'd never bought Tony Hawk brand before, but I certainly will again after this experience.

Great set of sweatshirts for kids to wear to feel comfortable and cozy throughout the day. This is a is accompanied by three sweatshirts in the colors black, blue and gray., purchased the size 8 They are light and thin, along with fleece lining within. The stitching on the sweatshirt in immaculate, you will not see any thread strings out of place.I had ordered a size up for my child just to be on the safe side, his current measurements are less than what I have measured but he will eventually be able to wear them later on. These can also be worn for those early to mid fall and spring days depending upon your comfort level.I also like the additional feature of pockets on the sweatshirts it provides more of a snugged fit.The only con I cane across these sweatshirt is that they catch lint quite quickly. These hoodies have not been worn and were still in their original packing. I only took them out to review them and noticed they were beginning to catch lint. I had left the blue hoodie out and the rest remained in the bag like they had arrived and they still happen to catch lint. They have not been worn or washed once yet, I was a bit disappointed seeing that. Normally lint is usually seen when clothes comes out of the drye, perhaps on the darker clothing from my experience of doing laundry.Overall this a fairly good set of sweatshirts and for the price about $10. dollars and some change each. They are not a bad option to consider to wear to school, a play date or to just lounge around at home all day feeling cozy!
