For the price these are great! They're sharp and seem pretty strong, and look like when the edge wears down they could be sharpened. The handles are easy to hold, and they snip nicely. They're also fairly easy to clean. A great buy for those starting their bonsai journey or on a budget!

Japanese craftsmanship is on another level, and these are no exception. Simple design, and everything is perfectly machined and fits together with precision. I use these in my garden and leave them outside because they’re stainless, and no plastic to rot in the sun. They’re STURDY too, almost like tin snips.

These are so, so nice. The craftsmanship is very high quality. I love that each half is one solid forged piece, with the handle expertly welded so there is no gap. They have really good heft and cut easily. They work for both left and right handers (I'm a lefty). The tip is pointy and sharp also, so be careful storing these! They come coated in a thin layer of oil to help preserve them, which is nice.

These scissors are very sharp, and very heavy, and have large loops for holding any size hand or hands wearing gloves. The sharp pointed tip allows for very precise cutting. They're excellent quality and will last a lifetime so definitely worth the price.

To say that'm I'm impressed with this high grade tool will be an understatement.The first thing I would like to share about these scissors, is that the package comes with an info card that has link that shows how to confirm authenticity of this product.I can see why there would be an interest of making a knock off copy of these scissors, but I don't see how the level of this quality can be matched by cheap manufacturing.These scissors were made by accomplished craftsman. Every detail. While these are listed as Bonsai scissors, given steel quality and precision with which they are made, Bonsai tree shaping is only one of countless uses these scissors are suited for.Right now it's a Holiday season, and when I showed these scissors to my wife she immediately said 'Oh how nice, I need to use them right now!' She started using them right away to cut decorative paper garlands. My wife said that the control and ease of precision cutting helped her get really creative with the delicate cuts for the stars.These scissors have a very balanced weight to them, handles have a side bend for comfortable hold, and they are folded back to a flush fit.Blade tension is absolutely perfect with a satisfying snip at full close. There is a perfect touch of lubricating oil in the pivot.I can't say enough good things about this wonderfully made tool, and the only thing I want to do to improve is to bring the metal finish to a mirror polish.As is, the finish is just perfect for a practical high end metal tool, and mirror polishing is only to personalize an already excellent tool.The level of Japanese craftsmanship is something to be truly commended.In short, to be on the safe side buy two pairs of these scissors, because there is a high chance that someone will want to snag a pair from you.

I ordered these Bonsai shears because I collect rare succulents and plants. I thought they would be a nice addition to my arsenal of tools.I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package! I could immediately tell they are of superior quality and workmanship. They are crafted with solid Japanese stainless steel which is easily noted by their weight and thickness. Each part of the shears is crafted from one solid piece of stainless. They are super sharp, well balanced and come lightly oiled from the factory.I know I will have these shears for my lifetime and possibly longer.These shears would make an excellent gift for anyone who loves to practice the art of Bonsai, has a beautiful garden of roses or heirloom flowers like peonies or chrysanthemums!
