I normally wear a size 13 in a normal shoe and still have quite a bit of wiggle room in the the toe box. Not so with these cycling shoes. First I tried a 13 and they were actually pretty close to a good fit, but I upsized to a 14 and it was still too tight. The toe box is just too narrow for my foot so I returned them. I will say that the quality of the shoe was excellent compared to some other brands I've worn in the past (and the price was excellent) so was disappointed they didn't fit. It's a bit of a weird review since I didn't keep them, but based on the quality, I would highly recommend them IF (and only if) you have a narrow to normal size foot!
Incorrect order TWICE I wanted the book

I waited a long time for these to arrive and had to pay an import fee. I received the package today and upon opening it, I see a pair of already worn shoes with dirt and rubbed off soles. Very disappointed. I initiated a return today. I have attached some photos. Also, it is of note that the quality of the product is not there; do yourselves a favour and don’t get these.

These are les than half the price of a Shimano or Specialized shoe but perform similarly. The ratchet feels like good plastic but is complicated which usually means shorter usable life in my experience, we will see. The size is good. They're comfortable and fairly stiff. I can't get them as tight as I'd like because of the velcro straps. The Velcro is stiff making it difficult to tighten on a low volume foot. I will modify them and make them work for my foot. Also I'm on the last click of the ratchet. To be clear for the price these are great. If you want the performance of a $300 shoe, buy a $300 shoe. I ride 3-6 hours a week and will make these work for me. Sav dat money

These shoes are very comfortable but run pretty big. The 41 fit more like a 42.5 but they are roomy. Unfortunately, they would not cinch down tight enough to hold my foot in place. For the price they have value, so I engaged my neighbor, who sews. I had to cut the top ratchet strap fabric part in half and resew it back on closer to the latch. It looks funky because the Tomasso name is cut off, but it now ratchets down nice and tight. If you have big, fat feet it may fit you fine as-is.

La calidad es insuperable, el problema es que viene muy amplios y quedan holgados.

This shoe is rather narrow - but I have found this normally relaxes after some time...OK.However, the big issue is the triple straps. Perhaps it is me...but it seems the pull back point is too high and your foot never feels secure. My old Shimano straps are lower on the foot and provide a secure fit.Anyway, if your budget is already here...spend a bit more and just get the dial shoe.

After having my last set of Specialized mountain bike shoes finally fail after 20 years (sole separated from upper at the heel), I went on an Amazon quest for a new set of SPD compatible shoes. I decided to try an save a few bucks by going with these Tommaso shoes, but I now have learned that was a mistake and a waste. The shoes themselves were comfortable for the dozen times I was able to wear them before they failed, but the fact that they could not make it beyond 12 rides is pathetic. I've included a picture which shows the inside portion of the right heel blown out. This is most likely due to an impact with my front chainring...something that happens from time to time in mountain biking and something for which a mountain biking shoe should be designed. It is important to realize that I never crashed while wearing these shoes...just a few close calls and clip out moments that are inherent to the sport. When I contacted warranty support to see if they could help, I was accused of letting my dog chew on the shoe (even though there are no bite marks) and received generally snarky responses implying that it was my fault the shoe failed. It has now been over a month since the snarky warranty representative stated he would file a claim, but there has been no additional communication. Fine, lesson learned...if you are pedaling down to the local Starbucks for a latte, these might be fine. If you are doing any actual mountain biking, do yourself a favor and go with a reputable brand. I now have a new pair of Specialized mountain bike shoes which I expect to get many years of enjoyment out of....the Tommaso's are going where they belong...in the trash.

Order arrived promptly as promised. The size 49 fit is more generous than the Pearl Isumi 49 shoes these are replacing. The fit is excellent and the Wellgo SPD clips I ordered with the shoes fit well and clip into the pedals easier than on my old shoes. Platform is good and stiff and after 200 plus km well pleased with the comfort of the shoes. Really like the Velcro closers. Don't know what the toe cleats included in the order would be used for other than scrambling up root strewn bike paths. As I tour on concrete not need so removed. Only caution is hard soles are a little slippery on hard tile/smooth concrete, but not a major concern.so Far very happy
