This is a wonderful rice cooker. My only quip is that it's VERY expensive for how little it can actually cook. This is perfect for me since I don't have any other mouths to feed except myself, so one batch is enough for two days. However, if you have a family, I would reconsider this option.- The ring pops open the lid, and the inside is no different from any other rice cooker.- There are no protruding buttons at the top; it is all touch-sensitive digital buttons.- Using it was pretty intuitive, I didn't need to look for any manual to figure it out.- Post-cooking, the top gets pretty dirty from the evaporating rice liquid.- It does a really good job of keeping warm.- It uses a three-prong plug.

Great Rice cooker! The price doesn't break the bank, it's easy to use, and cooks plenty of rice for a family of 4. The size is great as it doesn't take up a ton of room on the counter or in the cabinet when stored. No issues with sticking rice so far, but we'll see how it continues to clean up.

The small size makes this very convenient for someone living in a small apartment, dorm room, short-term hotel stays, or anything similar. It's 3 cup size (makes 6 cups once cooked) is plenty for anywhere between 1 and 3 people. I like how it has many preset options which make it very easy to cook different rice types, reheating options, soups, steaming and reheating, etc. The inner ceramic-coated insert easily pops out for cleaning. The inner top lid, the steam valve, and the steam valve cover are also removable for easy cleaning. The settings are changed from the touch panel on the top of the device. It gives it an elegant look while keeping it easy to wipe down. The cooker automatically senses the moisture content of your rice and adjusts the cooking time accordingly. It practice this has worked very well for me and yields fluffy, perfectly cooked rice. The "fuzzy logic technology" that the TOKIT supposedly utilizes is something seen in much pricier rice cookers (starting in the $200 range), so I'm unsure how true this statement is, but the fact that it does, indeed adapt and adjust the cooking parameters based on realtime feedback makes me think this claim is true. All in all, I'm very happy with this little rice cooker. It works perfectly for me, living alone in a small apartment. Very easy to just throw rice and water in it, hit the button, and it does the rest. Taking into account it's features seen on more expensive devices, I'm happy with the price tag just at a hundred dollars at the time of purchase.

I've never had a rice cooker before this one, and I'm really loving it! My family caught a nasty stomach bug that made it hard for them to keep anything down, so I started using this amazing gadget to whip up rice for everyone at home. While the rice didn't cure them, it definitely made my life a lot easier! You just measure the water and rice, close the lid, turn it on, and it beeps when it's done. The rice comes out fluffy, not sticky, and super tasty. Plus, you can cook so much more than just rice in it... like soups, yogurts, and more! And let's not forget how it saves space! For my first rice cooker, I'm really excited about it!

This rice cooker looks sleek on the countertop and makes some really fluffy rice. It is easy to use--there is a touch screen for you to select any function or timing you want--with a large button fr you to pop the lid open. The capacity is small to medium, with around 3 cups of rice, which is adequate for a meal with about 5 adults. It allows you to go ahead and pre-measure your rice and water, and kick start the cooking at any time you program up to 20 hours later. The measurements are available on the inside of the cooking inster/pot together with a measuring cup and a paddle. There is no need to fluff the rice partway through cooking as it just turns out remarkably well-cooked. I have used it to make some miso soup as well and the vegetables were not overcooked, while the tofu is soft and yielding. Very easy to use. At the price, I think it is good value for money if you are not planning to use this as a daily appliance or cooking for a large family.

This is an impressive little appliance. I don't really know all that much about rice, but this takes all the guesswork out. I actually misplaced the instruction manual before I had a chance to test this. This is pretty self-explanatory. I put in the water and rice like I would normally (I usually stick mine in the microwave. lol) and hit menu. Buttons and general operation is easy-peasy. The white rice was already flashing, so I hit start and left it. I was confused by the lines going around; after a while I finally opened the lid to make sure it was working and it was hot, so I closed it back up and let it be.A little while later, I heard it beeping and went to check on it. Low and behold, perfectly cooked rice. And it was much, much better than microwaving rice, (who would've thought!? lol) The texture turned out so perfect. I put in two cups dry rice and two cups water... I didn't notice it being overly full, but I was serving myself out a bowl so fast, I forgot to pay attention. (Photo is after I took out a nice portion.) I had no problem dipping out the rice, either, with the non-stick surface. It's going to be easy to clean.I really, really, really like the warming feature. When I fix rice normally, I like to start it first and sometimes it's sitting while the other food is getting done. This makes sure the rice is still hot and safe. While this won't make a huge amount, it's plenty for us. Ease of use and the small footprint make this a must-have small appliance.

Our family loves rice and we have to eat almost 5 days out of the 7 days week. So when I see this small pot size smart rice cooker available, I ordered it right away because I like the functionality and compact size. So far it's been working amazingly well - delicious white rice every time~ :)This small size rice cooker is made in amazing quality and beautifully crafted. The look is a bit different than the traditional smart rice cooker, which has a much deeper hollow pot size. It is very easy to operate and can cook 3 cups of white rice in about 22 - 25 minutes. The cooked rice is fluffy, soft and plumped, very delicious. The keep warm function is useful as I could cook the rice ahead of time. This smart rice cooker also has additional 8 functions, such as claypot stews, rice porridge, curry and different grains of rice, which functional for small families. This is a really nice smart ricer cooker to have, I do happily recommend it to everyone!

Living with just one other person makes this ideal! We usually only prepare up to 3 cups of rice at a time. It doesn't occupy much space and looks nice enough that I don't mind leaving it out. Plus, having a timer is fantastic; I can head to work and return to a meal cooked in the slow cooker if I want. However, I have noticed that cooking rice takes a bit longer than with my previous rice cooker. It's not a major issue since I can multitask during that time, but it's worth mentioning. In my opinion, this feels like a sidestep if you're thinking about getting an instant pot. It has many settings, but it can be a bit complicated if you're just looking to cook rice, especially after using a simple one-button rice cooker.Pricing which currently was $99 at the time of the review could be a bit of a tough sell, seeing as if you needed a bigger machine with multiple functions can be found on sale for 30-50 dollars more

Das was da raus kommt ist also heiß.

This cooker has a couple winning aspects, namely the aesthetics and the size. It looks awesome and sleek, and it’s incredibly compact which is great for when you only need a cup or two of rice for a meal. There are unfortunately a couple of downsides as well. First is the complexity to use it and read the display. It’s way too complicated for something that only needs to cook rice. I can’t really tell when it’s started, how long it will take, how long it’s been warming (or if it is even warming), and *importantly* IF it’s done cooking… that’s kind of a crucial bit of info to not make clear. The other issue I’ve had with it is that it takes a full hour to cook a single cup of rice! Smaller amounts should mean *faster* cooking, not shorter. Other rice cookers can do it in half an hour, which isn’t a dealbreaker but it’s been inconvenient. Other than that, I haven’t used the scheduling features or other functionality but I thought it was worth mentioning it’s inclusion since that can certainly be appealing to many people who want their rice to be ready when they get home, for example. Overall, it looks nice and gets the job done, but it suffers from over functionality when it really only needs to cook rice.
