Easy installation with the drill bit
- Installation steps
- Drill a suitably positioned 5/8"(16mm)+(0mm~2mm) diameter hole, insert inner brass pipe part of viewer head into the hole.
- Insert outer brass pipe part of viewer tail into the hole.
- Screw the two sides together and tighten by hand.

Works mint. Drill bit made quick work through the door. Other buyers complain about the name on the cover. I just used a black marker over the name. Black paint would look better , but I really don't care.

This peep hole has been a solid addition to our front door. I love that it includes the proper drill bit needed for installation. It took all of 5 minutes to put on the door, build quality is fantastic and the clarity looking through it is great. Can't beat it for the price.

Before I used the included drill bit, I used a smaller longer drill bit that I had that would go all the way through the door. In that way I had a small hole on both sides of the door so that I knew where to insert the provided drill bit. Worked like a charm and very nice look. Just put a bit of clear silicone caulk around the outside ring before fully tightening and should be water tight. Great little product.

Perfect peep hole. I have customers who need these for their rental homes, I chose these and they couldn't be easier to install. They even come with the drill bit, so you just need to make your hole straight through, perhaps use a longer fit first to make a hole on both sides. Recommended.
