This booster seat is made of strong foam that really will support the weight of any kiddo looking for a few extra inches of height at the supper table, while still having enough comfortable "squish" to it that it doesn't feel like sitting on those old phone books. Great solution for a dining room with adult-sized chairs. The straps make the cushion secure on any standard style of chair, even with an extra-wiggly occupant doing his best to get the booster to fall off the seat and dump him on the floor. The cover is washable; it feels like synthetic, but that will help with wiping it clean if you catch spills and splatters quickly enough. I don't believe that it's 80% cotton, tbh, and the washing instructions don't mention shrinkage like they would if this really were mostly cotton... but I think most kids, even those with sensory issues, will enjoy the texture of this rather satiny fabric.The seat came fully assembled (cover on, straps tightened) and vacuum packed to make it a tight bundle. There wasn't any icky-chemical smell when opening it, which was a pleasant surprise! The cover print (construction equipment) is cute and generic, and I like that they offer a bunch of print options so you can get unique ones for each kiddo, and there won't be any doubt over whose chair is whose. Overall, quite happy with this seat! If it holds up for more years than the kids need it, maybe I'll teach them how to make a new (more mature) cover to use it for scouts as a "sit-upon" or for sports as a stadium seat.

My wife and I occasionally babysit for our grand-nieces. The younger one is 4 and when we’re sitting at the table, she has traditionally had to sit on her knees so she could be high enough. I got this Funcority Toddler Booster Seat so that she can sit up like everyone else.The seat is made with high density foam that’s covered in a soft cotton cover. It came in a sealed, vacuum packed plastic bag that significantly reduced its size for shipping. Once I opened the package, it immediately began expanding. It looked full size to me after 5 hours, but I let it sit the recommended 48 hours just in case. I measured the cushion and found it to be 32.5cm (~12-3/4”) square and 10cm (~4”) thick. The cover is easily removed for cleaning and has multiple features to keep it in place when in use. The bottom is covered in a grippy, rubberized pad to prevent slipping. There are two sets of adjustable length straps with plastic snap hooks, one set for the bottom of the chair and the other set for the back of the chair. These straps, when fully extended as far as I felt they could be, measured 125cm (~49-1/4”). They were plenty long enough to wrap around our padded kitchen table chairs. See my photo.I am glad I got this booster seat. It’s going to come in very handy for our grand-niece and our future grandchildren.

My toddler prefers sitting in a regular chair to their taller convertible high chair, so I got this booster seat to let them see what's on the table a little easier.The seat fully reinflated after opening within a day or so. The cover is removable for cleaning, if needed. I found the straps somewhat difficult to tighten when the seat was buckled onto the chair.The space dino theme is fun but I would have preferred solid color options.The height of the booster is helpful, but it also means my toddler can't climb into the chair by themselves anymore. They ultimately prefer using a regular chair without the booster for most use cases, but we still have this strapped on and it gets occasional use.

First off the bumble bee pattern is super adorable! Bright and colorful but not super “kiddish” and works great for boys and girls. The material is very durable and it’s very well made. All the seams are straight and secure, the straps are securely sewed on and the overall construction is great. There’s a strap that goes under the seat and one that goes on the back to hold the cushion securely on the chair and the grippy material on the underside of the cushion makes it even more secure so it doesn’t shift or slide when kids get on and off it. It does take around 2 days to fully expand after removing it from the vacuum bag. The kids thought it was super neat to see it go from super thin and compact to a thick cushion once it was fully expanded. The kids love not having to sit uncomfortably on their knees anymore to reach the table and I find myself sitting on the cushion at times also, it’s really comfortable! Another bonus is it’s great to travel with. Whether it’s going to grandmas house, on a vacation or just out to a restaurant for dinner on a random weekday it’s quick and easy to attach it and remove it, and since the straps are so long and adjustable it fits on just about any style and type of chair.All in all, this booster cushion is super useful, the construction of it is great, the material is top notch, the straps and grippy bottom make it safe and secure, it’s super adorable and it’s overall the perfect cushion for kids needing a boost to the table (and a great place for adults to sit and relax too!). Highly recommend.
