The material for these mittens were as described, very soft and warm. The way they were sewn, however, made the mittens unable to be used. The thumb did not start at the base of the palm, as in a real hand, but rather half-way up, and the tip of the thumb was even with the top of the mitten. So, either the thumb was in the wrong place, or the mitten was cut much too short. The photo on the website did not reflect this.I was also frustrated that when I looked at this item before purchasing, I was only able to see the 5-star reviews--the others were there, but were somehow blocked from view. So, I hope people are able to see THIS review.

Love the fact that it's 100 percent wool. Love the string feature. And just pleased with the generous fit and classic style of this mitten. Tired of kids clothing and winter accessories with glitter and sequins. Just refreshing to see well-made and functional things that are beautiful.
