This is my second projector from TMY and it is hands down my favorite among the other brands I have tried. The setup is super easy with a power connection, hdmi input, micro sd card slot and audio out if you choose. The only thing it does not come with is 2 aaa batteries for the remote. After powering up the projector and connecting my HDMI cable, I was greeted by the home screen.I was able to find my local wifi and connect in just a few steps. Once connected, there was no noticeable lag with the wifi or bluetooth to my speaker.Setting the keystone and focus was very easy using the included remote.Everything worked great and I was able to adjust the picture to crisp clarity.I was very happy with the color quality displayed on the projector. The color settings would allow for adjustments to your room setup. For the price, this is one of the best values I have seen for a great projector. This performs WAY above it's cost.

Taking it out of the box was simple enough. You receive the projector, power cord, remote without batteries, small lense care kit, and an HDMI cable. Start up is easy, and VERY user friendly to connect to Wifi. Small threaded stud allows for easy tilt up and down of the entire unit.Easy to use remote allows you to navigate through the simple menu to figure out how you'd like to connect for viewing. It is Bluetooth compatible. There is a GREAT electric focus feature that allows you to focus in and out with the touch of a button on the remote control, or through the settings menu.Very easy to connect to an android phone via Smart View screen mirroring. Also easy to connect an iOS device via screen mirroring. Picture from device is clear and crisp from both types of devices. The sound coming from the unit speaker actually was way better than I was anticipated. Ranges from 0-100 and even at full volume the sound is clear and easy on the ears.Overall this projector is great for the price! I'd recommend this as it has a multitude of uses for both business or pleasure.

As an artist, the TMY P38 projector has quickly become an indispensable tool in my creative process. The 1080P resolution paired with 4K support ensures that every detail I project for sketching or tracing comes through crisp and clear. I especially love how the auto focus feature instantly sharpens the image in just a few seconds, saving me time and effort. The auto keystone correction ensures my projections are always perfectly aligned, no matter where I place the projector, which is perfect for those impromptu creative moments when I’m working in different spaces. What really stands out for me is the auto obstacle avoidance. It’s so helpful when I have clutter around my workspace—this projector adjusts the image automatically, keeping everything clear and uninterrupted. The auto screen adjustment feature also makes sure my image fits perfectly every time, no matter the distance from the wall or screen. The Wi-Fi connectivity lets me quickly project images directly from my phone or laptop, which makes transferring reference material a breeze. Plus, I can stream music via Bluetooth while I work, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and inspiring.Overall, the TMY P38 isn't just a projector—it's a versatile, creative tool that brings my art to life in new ways, and its sleek, stylish design fits perfectly in my studio. If you're an artist looking for a reliable, user-friendly projector, this one’s a game-changer.

I recently upgraded to this new projector, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. The quality of both the view and sound is a significant improvement over my previous projector. The images are crisp, vibrant, and clear, making movie nights and presentations a truly immersive experience. The sound quality is equally impressive, providing rich and full audio that complements the stunning visuals perfectly. However, the feature that stands out the most to me is the half-automatic focus adjustment. This has been a game-changer. I often move the projector to different rooms and settings, and with my old projector, this meant a tedious process of manually adjusting the focus each time. With this new projector, the half-automatic focus adjustment takes care of most of the work for me. It quickly and accurately adjusts, ensuring a sharp image with minimal effort on my part. This convenience has made using the projector much more enjoyable and hassle-free.Overall, this projector has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a fantastic blend of superior quality and user-friendly features. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their viewing experience!

A completely different animal inside, the menus are 100% different then the "electric focus" garbage. You would be better off with manual focus.Menus are more easy to navigate, keystone was not really tested much but works. It will automatically focus once started, even if already focused. I guess this makes sense that you never have to activate it. Every time you move the camera it will refocus so there might be an internal sensor for movement. The USB port on both models is upside down. Make sure you have a fast USB memory stick. A slow one will results in dropped and distorted video. At first I thought it was the camera but I replaced some cheap PNY ones the wife bought with a 128 GB Samsung and the glitches are gone. Only briefly tested HDMI but it works. It is not very bright and will need a dim environment. Speaks are OK for an inexpensive unit and get fairly loud without crackling. Only tested at 6 to 16 feet. You will most likely have to zoom in, it has wide throw. The automatic is better across the board, better menus, better access to settings, media, volume control and playback. The version also has a cute little start screen instead of the boring white logo on blue. Both have buttons on top if you lose the remote. The button work better than the remote for power on and power off.
