I used these lights as part of my booth at a St. Patrick’s Day themed conference. The different settings were perfect for the different times of day. So many fantastic comments on the lights.

I do not have them up yet but I did put batteries in and they are a vibrant green. Perfect to be seen in Garland or in the window!

I'm not one to buy lights for my home. At all. While purchasing a separate strand of incandescent lights (on advice of a garden shop to keep a plant warm during winter), I stumbled across this strand of festive St. Patrick's Day lights. Not only will they be a great decoration for the upcoming event, I was shocked to see all the extra features worked so well.This item comes with its own remote control. Easy to use. And so many features, I don't know which one is my favorite. Although I know which one I will avoid using: there's one setting that flashes in rapid succession. If you know anyone who might be light sensitive, like rapid pulse/strobe effects, avoid that setting, just in case it triggers a response that might cause harm to someone. No, I'm not a doctor. No, I didn't have any reaction. However, there should be a warning label for that particular setting on this strand of lights.I plan on placing this strand of lights on my fireplace mantel. This string of lights is just the right size for that location.Other locations: place in a circle on a table; put inside a glass jar if you're limited on space; wrap around the base of a lamp.CAUTION: As this product uses batteries, remember to remove the batteries when not in use. I once had a strand of LED lights above a desk area, and forgot to remove the batteries. The batteries leaked and damaged the LED strand. Just be mindful if you don't want to spend money multiple times on replacing your LED light strands that run off of batteries, removed those batteries.Also, if you only plan on using your LED strands once or twice a year, put them away in a cool, dark area, carefully wrapped (again, minus the batteries!). This will extend the life of your LED strands.All-in-all, this product was worth the price I paid, as it had way more choices on how the lights could be used (fade, flashing, etc.), as well as having a timer to shut it off or on when I'm not in the room.Enjoy!
